WHAT IF
Nuntius paced in the void Elijah was was sitting Genevieve trying to figure out how the merge the two and Nuntius was getting anxious. Something was changing about him, something had changed about him. Klaus sat across from them bounding a foot. After everything they'd been through something didn't feel quite right about this. This is what nuntius wanted, wasn't it? Joy had been wondering about it too, they would be apart of Elijah and klaus, but, what if they didn't? What if they stayed the way the way they were?
Klaus and Joy both started talking at the same time.
"What if we didn't do this?" They both said. Klaus jerked back and so did Joy.
Elijah looked at Klaus and Nuntius looked as well.
"What?" Elijah asked quietly. Genevieve tilted her head at Klaus.
"What if, just, what if we just left them? What if we kept them as they are?"
"But, the whole of this was to merge with us, to be whole"
"But their not the same anymore, their, different, and……I love, Nuntius, as he is…" Klaus looked pained as he spoke.
Nuntius swallowed hard listening.
"Klaus, the memories….and the void, he's not, free from that as he is"
"Ill take it" Nuntius said
Elijah looked confused and then looked to Gen
Gen swayed her head to one side "Klaus, has a point, and if nuntius is willing, maybe instead, we just, make things easier on him, find a way for things to be less painful for him."
Elijah nodded slowly coming around to the idea.
"Alright, how?"
Mance appeared in a chair near by "we sever the connection, Nuntius keeps collecting memories but doesn't get hurt, your strong enough to do that now"
Elijah nodded "Alright how do we do that?"
"Find the spell in your body, mind, and break that aspect"
Elijah closed his eyes focusing on the power and the spell and found the connection. He found a thin long wire that was entangled in the spell and then broke it.
Nuntius winced and went to a knee. "Ow" he said with a flat tone. Elijah ducked his head.
"Sorry" he replied.
Mance tapped a finger to his lips "Now to test it"
Klaus looked a little worried "What are we going to do?"
Mance shrugged a shoulder "I just fashion a red door memory and put it inside elijahs head, no biggie"
Elijah looked a little nervous "Will that, affect, me?"
Mance "Nah Ill just make sure it goes directly to Nuntius and it wont bother you at all. Ready?"
Nuntius nodded "Ready"
"Ready" Elijah said with a nod.
Mance then put a hand on top of Elijah's head and sent Nuntius a vision of Elijah killing everyone in the house and burning it down.
Nuntius watched and took a deep breath and exhaled when nothing happened. "It worked"
Mance smirked "Course it did"
Elijah sighed with relief "alright, well then they stay as they are and we maybe one day, find them their own bodies?"
Klaus rose an eyebrow "You think that's a good idea?"
"You have a spell for that don't you?"
Klaus rolled his eyes "Oh sure remind me of that why don't you" his tone was playful and sarcastic.
Genevieve smiled "It wouldn't be the worst thing"
Nuntius nodded his head back and forth "I don't want to stop looking like myself"
Elijah's eyes flicked up.
"Nor do I" Joy added
Klaus looked thoughtful and crossed his arms. "Might have to for a little while till we figure out how to make you two look the way you want to"
Nuntius tapped a claw on the arm of a chair "Fine"
"Agreed" Joy said, if Nuntius was okay with it, so was he.
