That night was like endless dream or at least that was what Silver thought.
Silver footsteps were heavy that cold night at the beach his vision started to blur due to the lack of blood he haven’t drank these days he wasn’t the type of vampire who attacked people for blood he preferred drinking blood bags of animals since
he always snuck in the veterinarian office to steal them but he decided to stop doing it and felt guilty for stealing it. His throat was starting to get thirsty
Silver turned to face the ocean slowly walking towards even though his vision was still quite blurry he extended his hand to drink the water it was kinda a dumb idea for him to think that it could at least stop the thirst in his throat suddenly his vision went dark that’s when he knew it was all over for him his unconscious body was drag by the strong waves the more the waves dragged him the more deeper he went to the ocean
Silver eyes shut open he was gasping for air but it was useless he tried swimming back to the surface but it was too late his eyes once again closed slowly like if he was accepting his fate
Until a pair of cold hands dragged him
Silver woke up analyzing his surroundings he wasn’t in the surface but in an unknown cave this cave was pretty different from others caves it was like an art work came out of the museum Silver had to admit that this was sure interesting but now how is he going to get out of this place knowing nothing about it but then he thought more about it someone save him but they were nowhere to be found
Suddenly a merfolk came out the water Silver gets startled he thought this was kinda some dream but it is truth the merfolk slowly approach him and it spoke -Ah you are awake Silver blink twice now that there’s a literally merfolk in front of him his father has told him stories about merfolk but they were mostly just urbans legends before he could say anything his stomach started to growl out of hunger Silver cheeks went a bit pink out of embarrassment
The merfolk couldn’t help but let out a giggle and spoke once again -l knew you might be hungry his hand opened to reveal a big dead fish Silver looks at the fish then at him he was questioning of whenever trusting the merfolk or not but he decided to take it and says -Thank you
He opened his mouth and sink his teeth into the flesh of the fish drinking the blood of it the merfolk was observing him quietly while he was devouring his food there was a hint of interest in the merfolk eyes this is something he has never in counter before then his eyes closely looks at Silver teeth that feeling he imagined how could’ve feel his teeth on his neck it made the merfolk him felt excited
Silver finished his meal removing his fangs out he looks back at the merfolk who was lost in thought Silver was debating whenever to speak or not but he took a deep breath and decided to speak with him -Excuse me can l ask you something? The merfolk who was now lost in thought turned his attention to him -Sure go ahead
What is your name? and how did you know l was a vampire
The merfolk answered politely -My name is Jade leech and to answer your second question it was because when l brought you up here l noticed how your features matched perfectly with the description of a vampire
Silver nods understanding then took a pause before speaking once again -My name is Silver
Jade gave him a smile in exchange -your name sure matches you well Silver Jade says his name like if he memorized it quickly already almost like he never wanted to let go of that name
There was an awkward silence both them were now staring at each other Silver was debating to whenever speak or not but he stopped himself from doing something dumb in front of someone he barely knew about
The more he looked at Jade he could feel an intense hunger he quickly shook away those thoughts but it was miserable hiding his hunger his mouth staring watering he quickly turned around for Jade not to notice yet Jade was very observant about this situation acknowledging what Silver was going through
Jade approached Silver -Silver you seem still hungry l asume? Silver a bit embarrassed nods Jade caresses his left cheek before speaking -May l offer you my blood? Silver eyes widened
-l don’t think l could accept your offer after all you have done to help me Silver expression seems almost guilty Jade looks at him once again then grabs his hands
-Silver the more l see your hopeless expression the more l insist on helping you. Jade hand moves to his head bringing it to his neck
Silver breath hitched he didn’t know what to do but the temptation was already consuming him he opened his mouth and bites Jade neck his fangs went a bit deeper into the merfolk flesh sucking his blood was quite different it was cold but with a hint of sweetness
Jade was observing him quietly he couldn’t help but felt excited this was something new to him something he never wanted to let go but he knew sooner or later that this feeling isn’t going to stay here forever Silver had to go back to the surface eventually
Jade heard movements in the cave as if someone was swimming towards here but it wasn’t any small fish it had the same weight as him before he could react
A merfolk who looks just like him popped his head out Jade sighed in relief realizing it was brother but then he remembered that silver was still on top him his teeth sink into the flesh of his neck how was he going to explain this to his before brother before he could speak them merfolk already opened his mouth
-What the fuck is happening here. Silver who now seems to notice the presence of the other merfolk he quickly get off of Jade sitting in corner of cave Jade felt a hint of disappointment now that Silver teeth wasn’t sink into his neck anymore but then he turned to the merfolk who seems questioning his behavior Jade regained his composure as always
-Floyd it’s not what you think it is, Floyd raised an eyebrow at Jade lack of explanation -Then what the fuck it is from what I’m seeing is that you already got a new boyfriend to play with Jade couldn’t help but felt a bit embarrassed he had to admit that he kinda have a point but it’s not truth at all Jade took a deep breath before speaking once again
-Floyd he is not my boyfriend l was helping him because he hasn’t had a proper well… meal these days. Floyd was almost going to burst out laughing because that’s the dumbest thing Jade has never done for anyone
-Ohh l understand know Jade l mean already knew you were into men but l never thought you will actually sacrifice your life for someone you barely know Floyd looked at him in a mocking manner
Jade knew he was probably going to get blackmailed by his brother but he probably wouldn’t say a word to anyone unless he had to something for him he cursed himself in his mind
Floyd finally lets out a small laugh -Don’t worry Jade l won’t tell anyone you’re little secret but you know that you can’t keep the jellyvampire here forever -l am aware of that Floyd there no need to tell me that l was planning to bring him back to the surface by morning
-So you are going to let go of him that quick huh? Floyd waved at Jade before swimming away until there was no trace of him Jade turned back to Silver to apologize about the situation but Silver was already asleep on the cold ground of the floor Jade couldn’t help but smile
