Since childhood, the little girl live alone with her mother in a house. The house was in a glade surmounted by mountains. It was difficult to access but, since the lady gets to her adulthood, knights travel the country to find her and prove their love to her.
The lady wasn’t raised as a good wife, the one that stay at the house to cook and obey the man. No. She was raised to hate male kind. She didn’t want a man to make her his. She learned to fight with différents weapons: sword, bow, dagger. So, when some knights get to her, she just to have to show with a sword at her hand, scared them away.
3 years passed and she get bored by the continued visits of men. The same thing in their mouths: “I’m here to save you, lady !” She didn’t even need help since she could fight a dragon by her own. It’s starting to make her sighs every time one of them show up. But, one day, a strange knight show up. It wasn’t here for her. Just rest sometime from a long trip. It was little after the meats. “Hello.” The voice didn’t even sound like a male one. She let them rest in the guest room. “Hi.”
They didn’t take off their armor, but she knew that soon or later, they’ll have to. It’s seems very heavy. But for now, they just sit in the bed and rest. Lady just take the time to look at them. They… wore a grey/silver like armor. Not all like most of the men who came and wore gold. She could see one eye, the other looked injured. It was green. Like emerald. Beautiful. They have hair, Lady supposed. Red pink with some blond. It was long hair, tie in the top of their head. They were falling to their down back. A green cape was hiding the half right of their upper body.
“M’lady, you’re staring at me.” The calm voice took her off guard.
“Wasn’t my intention to make you inconfortable..” she muttered, looking away.
“It was just a remark. You didn’t harm at looking at me.”
“You maybe need something ? Healing ?” The knight nodded.

The knight watched the lady disappeared from the door. The knight sighs. They come here to look at her. Legend wanted that no men were allowed in the area. The lady was beautiful, as expected, but seems a little harmless. Beautiful was the world. She had brown hair who falls in her back, a great blue dress to match her blue eyes. The dress collar fallen right before more of her poitrine could be seen.
The lady comes back with bandages.
“What happened to you ?” She ask.
“Some creatures live in the mountains. It’s dangerous, but not when we know them.”
“You knew them ?”
“Yeah, travel enough to know a lot about the weak point of these.”
“Cool.”
She took off the helmet of the knight’s head but stopped by them.
“You sure ?” The knight asked.
“Just let me take care of it.”
“Don’t be surprised !” The knight chuckled while warning her.
The lady took off the helmet to meet a lady kind face. She stop a moment, considering to… what was she thinking ?! But the face was attractive. A giggle from the knight could be heard.
“You’re alright ?” The lady snap back to reality.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just the first time seeing a lady-chivalry.”
“Uhm ?” The Dame said, amused. “Never heard ? How curious. I mean, I’m not the first one.”
“Mother never told me about.” The lady starts to heal the wound of the dame.
The dame just let her do the job, running her hands to her face. The lady was gentle in her touch, not wanted to hurt her host. That amused her new friend.
“Do you live all alone, dear ?” The knight asked.
“Yeah, since my mother died to a sickness.”
“How sad, I’m sorry for you.”
“Don’t worry, I’ve learned to be strong.”
“You did ?” The lady nodded.
“Mother learned me. She didn’t want me to be dependent to a man. How disgusting.”
“I could only agreed with you.”
The lady seems to have finished. She gets off of the bed and takes back all the material. She starts to leave the room but turn back to say:
“I’ll call you went to eat will come.”
“Sure. Your house doesn’t seem very big.”
“Oh. Euh, maybe I’ll come search you would be best.”
The dame nods. Her host leave her for good, letting her rest. Great. The dame just sighs and move to take off the rest of her armor. No way she wore it all the time, it’s very heavy and doesn’t make sense. Under, she wearing a black t-shirt a little big for her and a black pants to match the t-shirt. She next let herself fall on the mattress and look at the ceiling. Yeah, rumors don’t lie. She is really beautiful. She knew that religion forbids loving the same sex but… god, the lady had catches her eyes. The knight flushed at her own world. Yeah, she wanted her by her side. Whatever the men said.

Sometimes later, sun start to fall in the sky. The dame knew that the lady will show up to say it is time to eat.
“Knight ?” A voice call in the hallway.
“Yeah ?” She hummed back.
The lady shows up to the door, some blush on her cheeks.
“Sorry, I don’t know your name.”
“My bad, I should had told you. My name is Patience. And you ?”
“Elizabeth. Dinner is ready.”
“I’m coming.”
Patience didn’t expected to have a dinner that good. Her host really a saint at this point. She had enough food to full her stomach, thing that didn’t happened in week. Patience was too poor for this and passed her most time by traveling, that didn’t help at all.
“Elizabeth, could I last here more than the night ?”
“Yeah, sure. It’s not like we could be bothered by some people.”
“Oh, I’m sure I can take them in a fight !” Patience giggles.
“Oh, I’m pretty sure they will turn back from where they come like dogs when you’ll beat them !” Elizabeth responded, amused.
A knocking makes her sighs. Of course. She couldn’t eat properly without being interrupted by them.
“My lady, it is I, Prince Charming !” A voice shut out from outside.
“Now ?” Plained Patience. “We just had dinner!”
She see Elizabeth get a sword and go talks to the man. They were at voice appart, each could talk without scream.
“Oh my god. I’m not a princess waiting for you to save me.”
“But ! My lady, is I could, you’re stuck here !”
“And ?”
“It is pretty dangerous !”
“Oh my fucking god ! I still don’t understand why more men come here each time I beat their ass out of here !”
“It was you ?” The man ask. “No dark knight who protects you ?”
“Of course it is me ! I lived alone, who do you think kick their ass ?”
“A woman shouldn’t take a sword in their hand, they could hurt them.”
This man was literally in front of a dame and a lady who had a sword.
“If I could,” start Patience, “it is my job to protect people by my sword and as far as I know, I’m a woman.”
“It is different.”
That doesn’t make any sense his logic. The lady was pissed off and gives the sword to Patience.
“Just get ride of them. I don’t want them in my garden.”
“Your orders are my pleasure, lady Elizabeth.” The dame said, arming herself with the sword.
The man didn’t have the time to think twice as now the sword was at his throat. She wanted to give him the choice but she think of all creature in the mountains and just ripe his arms so he couldn’t defend himself against it.

Some month separate their first meaning and now. The story had goes hear to hear. A princeless princess.
“Once upon a time, there was a princess but princeless.” Elizabeth laughs. “A damsel in distress but not in the same sense.”
The man was confused. He look at the lady, she was sitting in a chair calmly reading her book.
“That’s why, you see, a prince would be useless don’t flex with your sword, bitch, if you not gonna use it.”
“Urgh, again ?! That’s the third one this morning !” Claim Patience.
She took her sword she just watched from the last one’s blood. The new one stand still but fear start to run all other his body. Nobody wants to go here and yet, so many men died anyways here.
“I feel like giving you mercy so just run.”
Fear told him to but he didn’t. His pride. His fucking pride told him to stay and battle. This lady doesn’t belong. And his mind was disgust. Ladies who could used swords and were in love ? Against everything he learn. The two of them were witches. So he up his sword, pointing to his rival. But she was stronger. She cut him in half effortlessly.
“I’m going to feed the lindworms with the corps, coming back !” Elizabeth nodded.
Now comfortable in the sofa, Elizabeth let a soft sighs passed her lips. It was comfortable but still missing something. And that something found her fast enough. Patience found her in the sofa, in front of the fire. The dame put a soft blanket on her lover’s back and then just attack her of a hug. Patience gets her back by Elizabeth as best she could and even a little kiss on a cheek. She look her lady in the eyes. Elizabeth was flushed, yes. But not because of a discomfort being this close to Patience. She was just a little shy of the reaction of her knight.
“You know, flower, you could just ask for a real kiss. I wouldn’t mind.”
Patience execute her world and leans for the lady lips. It was quick but with love.
“I love you.” The lady said.
“I love you too.” The knight said, wrapping more her arms around her love.
