Chapter Text
Pin liked exploring the long lost, abandoned Yoyle City. It was very big and kinda spooky, but that’s ok, because it was a lot of fun!
She was with Coiny right now, as she skipped through the streets. They had been best friends since early BFDIA, which was about 4 years ago. Right now, the two were exploring Yoyle city, but this is different, because Coiny was taking her somewhere. He said there was something important that he had to say.
As the pair walked forward, Pin thought about BFDIA. The game was very chaotic, and she was absolutely glad that it was over. Losing her limbs also wasn’t fun AT ALL. But maybe there was one…
Fuck. Stop thinking about her. She’s dead, because she deserves it. She’s a horrible person.
Pin looked around at the abandoned buildings, trying to distract her mind from something that she should NOT be thinking about. Her eyes landed on the Yoyle Needy, where Firey’s annoying ass screaming can be heard from above.
He was being punished for stealing Book’s dream island. She knew the farm chunk was awesome, because SHE was the protagonist who made it, but still, stealing dream island is an unforgivable sin that must be punished with death.
She wondered why Needle wanted to spare him. Why him, and not…you know what, never mind.
Coiny had just stopped in the fountain with the yoyle oil (yoy…il?) in it. Pin suddenly noticed the nervous expression on his face. What was he so worried about?
He gestured her to sit on the fountain, right next to him. She did, and there was a moment of silence between the two.
“So…why did you bring me here?” Pin asked, breaking the silence.
“I…” Coiny hesitated, “I have something that I’ve been wanting to tell you for a long time”.
“Well, what is it?”
The copper coin took a deep breath.
“I think I’m in love you, Pin. You are amazing, beautiful, and you’ve been a really good friend to me, and I just…” Coiny was now unable to find the words he wanted to say
Pin, meanwhile, was flabbergasted by this. Coiny…loved her? Since when? Did she even like him back?
She did think he was kind and funny, and was maybe good looking…so maybe?
After all, she hasn’t really dated someone before (since no guy ever really caught her eye), so it might be fun!
“That’s…really cool, Coiny…!” Pin smiled nervously, also not exactly sure what to say in this situation.
“So…do you want to be my girlfriend?” He asked with anticipation in his eyes.
“Uh…yeah, sure!”
Coiny then completely lit up. “Wait, really??”
Pin nodded, still not completely sure about what she was doing. “Yeah!”
Coiny then hugged her. It surprised her, but she returned it. The hug felt good, but Pin was distracted by what she had done, and how…unsure she was feeling.
But why should she be? She liked Coiny, and he liked her! There’s no reason to NOT feel happy!
So why wasn’t she?

Coiny and Pin were now walking to Fries’ garden together. They were talking about random things, but even while they were talking, the unsure feeling wouldn’t leave her.
While Coiny was talking to her, Pin looked at the looming skyscrapers once again. The abandonmentness of Yoyle City made her feel as if the tall buildings were watching her. She then looked around some more, at at all the abandoned buildings, parks, fountains, and that oddly Leafy-shaped silhouette that was visible from one of the alleyways…
Wait, what the fuck?
Pin then stopped dead in her trucks. Was that…?
No…it couldn’t be…she was DEAD.
How is she here? What is she doing here? Is that-
“Pin? Are you okay? You just stopped right here!”
“Wha…?” she turned her head towards Coiny.
“Oh…it’s nothing! Let’s just keep going”
“If you say so…”
Coiny went back to talking to whatever. But when Pin looked back to the alleyway, the shadow was gone…
“I must’ve imagined that…” she thought
