"Why are you sad, Cam?" asked Jackie to her daughter sympathetically.
"It's just… I miss dad really bad." Cam looked at her mother like she had something to say about her father and how he cared for her. "He was very special to me, you know that?"
"I'm very sorry I didn't listen to you when you said you wanted some peace and quiet," said Jackie, patting Cam on her right shoulder.
"It's okay, mom, I forgive you." Cam hugged her tight as a single tear fell from her eye and slid down her soft cheek. "I really love you."
