Work Text:
Writer’s block.
Kim Soleum stared at his entry, all he could write was the title, and he pouted in displease. Here in the office, everybody knew his hobby. Even his boss often caught him in the middle of reading wiki or writing an entry. It wasn’t a procrastination, he simply felt safer to write about creepypasta in the room with this many people.
What was his last entry? It was quite terrific that even he felt guilty about it. Like, what if he put himself in that Agent’s shoes, to experience all those entries and still managed to stay alive? That’s so horrible, right? That’s why he tried to make amends about it. Although, he wasn’t the only author who pushed ‘Agent Choi’into the cliff.
“Hmm, but how?”

The dream of the past startled me. I quickly assessed the situation and got up. I wasn’t in the motel, my bureau jacket was nowhere to find and my right arm… stumped. It was odd, I just recharged the dokkaebi flame so where was it going?
And…
Whose clothes I’m wearing?
“Hey, Grapes-ie, you awake.”
The familiar voice, followed by a familiar person entering the bedroom I was in. The man was shirtless, only in grey jersey pants. My eyes felt burned at the sight of his exposed skin. Scars littered around, some were like a slash, another like a stab, and the most uncomfortable one was the one circling around his neck.
I glanced away, flustered in guilt and … something else brewing in the lower of my belly. I shouldn’t feel like this to someone like him. I should repent, make amends, not project my desire on him. ‘But he really looks fine, is he shirtless on purpose?’
Wait, in the first place, why am I here?
“Do you feel better? You threw up all over your clothes and pants, so we took you here. Jaekwan-ie is crashing on the sofa right now.” Agent Choi passed me a warm ginger tea to wash my dry throat, then massaged my neck gently. “You’re really wasted, I hope you’re ok with us helping wash and change you.”
I nodded shortly.
“This is… sunbae’s shirt?” I looked at the black shirt I was wearing, it was a little baggy. “Sorry, but where’s the dokkaebi?”
“Ah.” Choi chuckled, “you also threw up on their lantern so they decided to stay away from you.”
“Oh no.” I stared at my stump again. What if they got upset? What if they told other dokkaebis to not assist me? I can’t even ride a bike with one arm!
“It’s alright, they’re with Jaekwan-ie, we also clean their lantern. They’ll be back to you soon.” Agent Choi took a seat at the foot of the bed. “Anyway, why did you suddenly drink that much? I tried to stop you but you’re very strong. Even pining me to the wall, in front of everyone in the restaurant.”
I DID THAT?
“That must be a lie.” I cleared my throat.
“You wanna see the pic?” Choi dared me with a soft whisper and mischievous twinkle in his gaze. Mind you, he was still shirtless and he was in bed with me, prowling to my direction. “N-no! Argh!” I couldn’t stand it anymore and scolded him, “why are you not wearing any shirt, Sunbae?”
“Haha, sorry, sorry~” He leisurely slouched beside me, “you also threw up on me, so I had to change. Unfortunately it’s not my laundry day yet so there’s only one fresh shirt left.” He pointed at the one I’m wearing.
Ah, that really sounded like an excuse.
“Are you bothered by it?”
Would you put on any clothes if I said so? I screamed mentally, while hugging the blanket around me even tighter. “S-Sunbae, please stop teasing me…” I told him with a trembling voice, yet he leaned closer again, watching me with his confident smile.
“Grapes-ie~”
“Do you remember what you said to me before? In front of Jaekwan-ie and everyone?” He whispered sultrily.
WHAT?! WHAT DID I SAY?
“You don’t remember? Aigoo~”
He chuckled, each sound made my heart clenched and unclenched in discomfort. Oh please, please not that~
“Let me refresh your memory-”
“Nooooo!” I rushed to cover Agent Choi’s mouth, although I could only reach him with my left palm. My right stump was gently caught by the man and stroked gently in affection.
Still, with my strength, I managed to pin him flat on the bed, with me straddling him in a baggy black shirt and undies. Wait. Wait. UNDIES?!
“Nice move.” He grinned happily. This… this pervert!
I tried to get up and his free arm rested on my waist, “no,no, stay. I kinda like it, so please…” He looked at my face with fondness radiating in his gaze, “Ya, Grapes-ie, don’t give me that pout, I’m already having a hard time here, holding myself.”
I took back my hand, with the left one hugging my right stump. My face heated at the sight of him caressing my exposed thigh. He shouldn’t… I shouldn’t… but I remember my mission. Was it better for me if I indulged in his desire, so he lowered his guard on me?
“W-what do you want from me, Sunbae?” My voice filled with accusation and lies, because I didn’t think I'd hate this closeness. His gaze hardened and his grip on either my waist and thigh tightened, digging into my skin, grabbing me and leaving faint marks.
He breathed out through his mouth, a soft groan in appreciation to my reaction. “I just know, whatever I want, you want it too.” He said, slightly mocking me, making my ears burn from being caught lying.
“So, what do you want, Kim Soleum?” He casually called my name.
<<<flashback<<<
I was drunk. How did I get drunk in the first place? Was it because I noticed a familiar entry meant for Agent Choi? Previously, we had a dispatch call into disaster, and it was meant for solo but Agent Choi told us to go together so we can finish it and get dinner together.
The disaster was familiar and I was dreaded because the entry was meant to kill the civilian and wounded Agent Choi badly, to add more into his heroic scar. And I, as one of those wiki authors, smiled when I read that, thinking maybe it was better if he lost a limb too. The prosthetics looked good on him.
With the three of us, the dispatch went smoothly and nobody hurt, but I was drowned in guilt. I couldn’t look at him, uneasy when he touched me and drinking more than I usually did at company dinner. Each time the alcohol washed down my throat, it burned my chest, it made me forget briefly who I am and what I did to him.
“Hey, Grapes-ie, you drink too much.” At some point someone was taking the bottle from me and by reflex I tried to get it back, pinned the poor Agent Choi to the wall and whined, “Why… I didn’t mean it… sorry… I just admire you so much I’m…”
Then I threw up, on myself, on him, on the dokkaebi lantern. The restaurant is a mess afterwards.
>>>flashback end>>>
“So, what do you want, Kim Soleum?” Choi asked, the name rolled in tongue like a soft prayer, a cute name fitting for such a beautiful man. It’s hard to call it on a daily basis. Each syllabi made him imagine things, of what he would do to those slender nape, to the inviting back, to such slim waist. Even when dressed properly, Choi knew this man had a desirable posture, and today he managed to strip and saw how heavenly it was.
Soleum looked back at him, terrified. Oh boy, he remembered, right? Choi couldn’t help but grinning wolfishly. Among all, the eyes were so honest. Glancing to the left when he was unsure of whatever bullshit he was spouting, blinking slowly then widened each time Choi caught him off guard, and it would squint whenever his codename was mentioned.
Such a pretty little liar. His disguise was so awful, many times Choi wanted to expose him, just for fun. Because of that, Kim Soleum was always on the edge around Choi, always hiding behind Jaekwan’s back. However, watching over him also raised affection, because he wasn’t a liar all the time. At least he got a good heart, he tried his best to save people which is admirable and kind of a turn on.
“Kim Soleum?” Choi reached up, enjoying the man flinching to feel the rough, scarred hand on the soft, flustered cheek, “so you remember now?” He guessed, and his instinct was always right. The man, now without wearing any glasses, glared back defiantly at him, like a pouty little kitten trying to protect itself from being devoured.
“I… I shouldn’t act like that. I’m sorry, Sunbae.”
“Hey, why are you sorry? It’s fine.” It wasn’t. They had to pay a fine, they had to mop the floor, and probably be banned from such a fine dinner, but that was tomorrow’s problem, and Choi didn’t want Soleum to feel bothered with such menial things like that.
“Don’t worry about it, ya? Let this Sunbae take care of it.” Soon, both of his hands found its way to wrap around the small waist, he groaned in appreciation at how it fit in both of his palms. “Soleum-ah, you need to eat more…” he said while gulping down his own saliva, trying to quench his drying throat and well invested hunger brewing below his belly.
“Sunbae…”
“Tell me what you want.” Crap, it sounded like an order, with his breath laced in his whispers and with some of his fingers snaked below Soleum waist, sneakily stretched to cup the backside.
“I want… to make Sunbae feel good…”
Fuck. This is not good. This man is probably shitty at being a spy, but a natural seduction. He was aroused, while also mad to whoever saw or heard this side of Kim Soleum before. His grip tightened, his gaze hardened and predatory, as if he could eat this trembling man whole in one bite.
This couldn’t be good.

I gave up my dignity and decided, let this pervert do whatever he wants. While my boss never asked me to dilly-dally with customers before, there was a reason why I went to lunch and dinner meetings to “sweeten-up the deal”. Whether to my pleasing appearance or to my schmoozing skill, sometimes the touches become too friendly, too personal, but I endured. As long as I’m staying polite, they also know the boundaries. They’ll stop.
But to be a spy from a company to a different one, was a different story. My compliments and sad stories could be sugar coated but I couldn’t blatantly lie. I do suffer in Daydream and I was really a victim of injustice. That’s why I passed the test, gaining Jaekwan’s trust. Afterwards, I thought if I stayed low profile, I could work in peace but Agent Choi ruined my plan.
So right now, if I indulged him with whatever fantasy he had on me, maybe he’ll go easy on me?
In a flash, he got up. Losing my balance, I landed my back on the bed, where he gently covered the back of my head for a soft landing. “Grapes-ie, never show this face or say something like that to other people, kay?” He took the blanket and covered my entire body, until I looked like a cocoon, then, while half draping on my side, he snuggled me.
“This sunbae is also a little bit tired, so let me crash here with you. We had a long day, after all.”
And that’s it.
That’s how the wall of judgment I put in between us cracked and my own, ugly emotions resurfaced. No matter how scary and annoying this man was, it’s still THE Agent Choi, a character from wiki that I admired, and excited to read. From the beginning of his heroic journey to his tragic end, I… I always enjoyed every sentence, every word, and memorized them as if I knew him well.
And to see him in person, beside me.
How could I betray this man when I love him with every fiber in me?
