Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame was a normal girl, she just recently graduated college.
She was invited to a job fair by her friends who worked at the same company together.
She decided to try going to the job fair to see if she could network and land a job.
“Liz you’ll definitely like this company that me, Cecilia and Raora work at!”
“What’s the job like?” Liz asked.
“I think there’s one last opening, as a secretary for a boss I think!”
Her friend, Gigi said.
Liz was hesitant on being a secretary for a possible boss or someone higher up.
Sure it gave her an opportunity to work alongside her friends but she just felt nervous about it.
What if this person was mean or something.
“It’ll be fine Liz, you’re not in it yet. So don’t let your doubts get in the way”
Gigi was right, she shouldn’t let herself overthink.
She walked over to the job fair stand and checked the application details.
“Oh wow, not everyone who came by here picked that job at all.”
A small petite girl in front of her who was running the stand said out loud.
“Oh? I wonder why?”
Liz asked.
“Well having a job as a secretary can seem a bit nerve wrecking. You might be desperate for a job then!”
“Sorta desperate, I just want to work alongside my friends who work at that office branch as well.”
The small girl seemed to be lost in thought after hearing this.
“Well… I say work on the application and I’ll take it from you.”
Liz was relieved this girl wasn’t going to judge her about what she said.
Liz silently thanked her and started working on the application.

Time passed and she finished and gave it back all filled out.
“Nice. Oh I’m Koseki Bijou, but people usually call me Biboo.”
Liz was surprised the girl introduced herself so quickly.
“I’m Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame. It’s an honor to meet you, Miss Bijou.”
Liz smiled at the smaller girl, happy she hopefully left a good impression.
She thanked her and headed out to meet with Gigi and the others.
“Oh hey Liz, how did it go?” Cecilia asked when seeing Liz walk their way.
“It went well, one of the employees was running the stand. So I think I made a good impression.”
Liz said. The three girls all looked at each other.
“Eh Liz.. what was the girl's name?”
“Hm? She said her name was Koseki Bijou. Is she not nice or something?”
“Yes, she’s nice. I guess we’re just worried because of what department she’s a part of.” Gigi spoke up.
“Because of the secretary position?”
“Yeah, it’s about the director of her branch we know of.” Ceci mentioned
“Well it’s just rumors..” Gigi chimed in.
“Bijou’s department is marketing and the director is usually never seen in the office. It’s almost like she’s a ghost or something.”
Liz was deep in thought.
‘Well maybe this is a good thing, I won’t have to see her at least.’
“I’m sure it’s fine girls, maybe I won’t have to deal with such a bad boss.”
They all looked at each other smiling.
“At least you’re positive about it Liz.” Raora said.
Liz triumphantly laughed and crossed her arms.
“Of course of course, I am Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame! I will never be negative, it’s all about positivity!!”
They all laugh at Liz’s antics.
Cecilia, who was lost in thought, worried a lot for Liz.
She was Liz’s childhood friend, after all the times of saving Liz from being bullied when they were younger.
Liz has grown up to be the protector now. She just hopes she makes new friends or finds someone for her.
Maybe, but she wasn’t sure.

Liz woke up the next day, still groggy from sleep. The first thing she did was check her phone.
She noticed a missed call from a random number and called it back.
“Hello?”
“Ah yes, I was just returning a phone call from this number.”
“Name?”
“Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame.”
“One moment.”
“Sure.”
“Ah yes, we were just letting you know about your job application.”
Liz was a bit worried about whether she’d get in or not.
“You start later today if that’s alright.”
Eh?
“S-sure! I’ll be right in soon.”
“Alright, Miss Ravencroft will be on the 10th floor to see you soon.”
“Alright, thank you again.”
They hung up and Liz was lost in thought.
“I need to get a suit..” she said out loud, the only one hearing was her dog who was cuddling up to her leg.
“Hi Bobby.” She petted him.
“I’ll be back soon so let me get your feeder on.
Liz added more food to Bobby’s feeder and added more water to his bowl.
She smiled at her work and remembered she’s supposed to be at work soon.
She said bye to Bobby and headed off to the nearest Tailor shop to get fitted for a suit.
She went inside and found a normal formal suit for office wear.
“Hi, can I get this fitted for today?”
“Of course please come right this way.”
The lady at the tailor seemed nice but wasn’t here to praise anyone.
“Are you sure you don’t want a woman’s suit?”
Liz shook her head,
“I’m more comfortable in slacks.”
The woman nodded, not wanting to pry more.
“There you are, you should be ready now.”
Liz was wearing a brown suit with black slacks and some loafers to go with her outfit.
“This is good, thank you.”
Liz paid the woman and headed out to the address Gigi had given her before.

She had finally headed there since the walk wasn’t that far.
“She said 10th floor right?” Liz said out loud.
“Oh hey it’s you again!”
Liz turned around and spotted Biboo. Liz waved at her, still a bit nervous.
“Hey there.”
“Are you heading to the 10th floor? I can guide you to Nerissa’s office.”
“Nerissa?” Liz asked.
“Yeah, she’s the director of marketing up there. Her last secretary kind of blew off on her.” Biboo shrugged. Liz was lost in thought about these words about Nerissa.
“Come on, the elevators open.”
Biboo dragged Liz to the elevator.
“Anyways, our whole marketing team usually invites her out for dinner and such, so don’t worry she’s not a bad person.”
Biboo continues talking about Liz’s new boss.
“She’s actually kindhearted and silly, she just doesn’t show herself to the office area much.”
Liz actually feels a lot better with what Biboo says about her new boss.
“Here we are, I’ll guide you to her area.”
The elevator stops and opens. Liz looks around spotting Gigi and the others. They are busy with work and they don’t see Liz.
She smiles to herself glad they’re hard at work.
“So this is Nerissa Ravencroft’s office, make sure you’re formal and good luck.”
Biboo gives her a thumbs up and walks off.
Liz looks at the door very intimidated and knocks on it very determined.
“Come in.” She hears a very gentle yet powerful voice.
Liz opens the door and walks in. Liz closes the door behind her and greets her with formality.
“Hello Miss Ravencroft, I’m Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame and I’ll be your new secretary starting today.”
Nerissa looks up from her paperwork and stares at Liz for a bit.
Wow she’s really pretty…
“Oh my goodness, you’re very cute!!” Nerissa squealed loudly.
Eh…?
Liz blushed at Nerissa calling her cute with an adorable voice.
Nerissa continued smiling at her, and cleared her throat.
“Sorry sorry, nobody told me I’d have such a cute secretary today.”
Liz continues blushing while Nerissa stares at her fondly.
“A-ah…” Liz meekly says, not being able to say any words from this interaction.
“I’m sorry, where are my manners? I'm Nerissa Ravencroft. You said your name was Elizabeth right?”
Liz finally finds her words and responds.
“Ahem, yes ma’am. I’m Elizabeth.”
She continues looking cutely at Liz.
“Can I call you Liz?”
Liz almost choked at the new found nickname by her boss.
“That’s.. fine. I do not mind.”
“Yay!! Thank you Liz.”
Liz’s head was dizzy over how hot she felt.
“Anyways, your desk is over there if you’d like to sit.”
Liz nodded and headed over to sit down. She could feel Nerissa stand next to her.
“I wanted to help you with the computer and how to input things.”
Liz nodded, as Nerissa bent down over the desk to get closer to the computer at eye level.
Liz was completely out of it, as she was now distracted by Nerissa’s bust by her face.
‘Oh god!!’
Liz tried to move her eyes away to try listening, but did not prevail.
Liz was so focused on Nerissa’s boobs by her face. It was so hard not to stare.
They are so large… Oh god what am I thinking…
“Liz? Elizabeth!!”
Liz snapped out of it and stared at her face that was close to her.
Why is this woman making me feel this way…
“Y-yes?” Liz tried not to show she was flustered and hoped Nerissa couldn’t see through her.
Nerissa smiled warmly at her.
“I was asking if you were paying attention. Clearly not.” She laughed a bit.
Liz blushed. Staring at her kind eyes who stared back.
She was full of anxiety, not wanting to mess up this new job.
“Uh, sorry Miss Ravencroft. I kind of wasn’t listening. A lot is on my plate lately.”
Liz couldn’t be honest with her with her weird fantasies. Liz noticed Nerissa’s concerned eyes and felt a bit bad.
“If anything’s ever wrong don’t be afraid to talk to me. You may be my secretary but you’re a dear friend now, a cute one of course.”
She winked at her at the end. Liz wasn’t immune to Nerissa’s beauty and cuteness.
“R-right. Thank you Miss Ravencroft.”
Nerissa pouted a bit which made Liz’s heart soar.
“Please Liz.. Call me Nerissa.”
She looked at her with anticipated puppy dog eyes that you just couldn’t resist.
“Right, Thank you Nerissa.”
Nerissa had a blushing face now and looked at Liz with awe.
“A-anyways! I’ll teach you about the computer now!”
Liz blushed and nodded her head.

Liz couldn’t take anymore of her director's cuteness. She wanted to marry her on the spot but that would probably be inappropriate between employees.
And Liz didn’t feel that way about her… right?
She wasn’t sure, she only had one serious relationship once in high school.
Liz shook her thoughts and headed off to lunch.
Maybe I’ll be able to see my friends…
“Hey Liz!!” She turned a corner and heard Gigi.
“Hey!” She hugged her three friends and it warmed her heart.
“How was your time with the director?” Ceci asked, while sipping on some tea.
Liz didn’t wanna expose her boss to her friends from what Bijou said before.
If Nerissa was barely outside her office then Liz should respect that.
“Oh! It went well.” Liz smiled at them while she got a Coke Zero.
“Well? She didn’t hurt you or anything did she?” Ceci asked, a bit defensive.
Liz stammered a bit nervously by this side of Ceci. She knew Ceci was protective but Liz didn’t want to tell her about Nerissa’s secret either.
“No no of course not, it was all pretty chill.”
Liz blushes a bit thinking about her being close to her breasts.
“Ehhh? Is Liz blushing?” Raora elbows Liz’s side.
“N-no! It’s nothing like that.” Liz says defensively, hoping they drop the subject.
Ceci narrows her eyes at Liz.
“Why are you blushing then?”
“N-no reason!”
“Hey hey, let’s all calm down.” Gigi intervenes.
Before any of them had anything else to say, they see Bijou come in with another girl.
“What’s going on in here?” Bijou asks.
“Nothing nothing, don’t worry about it.” Liz says quickly.
“Alright. Anyways Liz I forgot to introduce you to Shiori. She’s the supervisor for marketing of sales.” Bijou held her hand out to greet her.
“Nice to meet you Liz, Biboo’s said nice things about you. I hope you treat Rissa kindly.”
Shiori holds her hand out to shake Liz’s hand.
Liz shakes her hand back and smiles warmly.
“She’s already extremely kind to me so of course I’ll do the same back.”
Shiori smiled.
“Glad to hear it, we’re just getting our lunch so if you’ll excuse us.”
Shiori and Biboo excused themselves and headed out.
“Wow they’re definitely some higher up bosses huh?” Ceci pondered.
“So your boss’s name is Nerissa? She sounds nice.”
Liz feels weird thinking of Nerissa as her own secret.
She definitely thinks she has a secret crush on her though. She wouldn’t dare tell anyone, it could go away. She hoped.
“Yeah she’s nice, I just don’t want to be rude and tell everyone about her, seeing as she doesn’t leave her office.”
The three blinked at each other feeling a bit bad.
“I get it Liz, we’re sorry for prying.” Raora says a bit sadly, feeling bad.
Ceci did feel bad but she also worries for Liz. Having a crush on someone she just met? That didn’t sit well with her at all.
Call her crazy all you want, but Ceci is very overprotective of Liz. No matter how strong Liz is now.
She protected Liz all throughout her childhood years from bullies at the park.
Liz always wanted to go on the swingset, so Ceci always brought Liz to the park close to where they live.
Ceci always brought her, despite bullies always annoying Liz. She hated when Liz cried, she cared so much for Liz.
Ceci just worries, she always did.
Especially after Liz’s last relationship, it ended in heartbreak where Liz couldn’t leave the room for days.
Ceci had to drag her out of bed just so she could eat.
Liz can have a crush all she wants but she will be the judge if this person is good for her or not.
Kindness or not, she wanted her childhood friend to be happy with someone one day that truly cared for Liz.
“It’s okay Raora, you guys were just worried for me, don’t worry.”
“Liz, you should finish your fries before you head back.” Gigi spoke up.
“Oh shoot right.”
Liz gulped down her French fries and brought her Coke Zero along to have at her desk.
She waved the three goodbye and headed off.
“There she goes. What do you think of all this Cecilia?” Gigi asks Ceci.
“I worry for Liz, you both know that.” Ceci says, still looking at Liz walking off.
“Of course we both know that. Does this mean you think Liz actually has a crush on her boss?” Raora asks.
“I don’t think, I know. I know Liz already, when she blushes about someone like that, she starts liking them.” Ceci looks at both of them.
“Are you going to be protective this time around? Liz is allowed to be an adult and like who she wants.” Gigi says.
“I know that, I’ll just monitor with caution.”
“You can’t be a stalker Ceci…” Raora says while she’s drinking her water.
Ceci scoffs.
“I love you two to death but you don’t get it from my point of view.”
“We do get it, we’re just saying Liz is stronger now to not be protected all the time. You need to realize that.”
Gigi says while getting up from her seat.
“One day you’ll know why Liz needs protection. Right now you don’t get it.”
Ceci sighs, she gets up and walks off angrily.
Gigi and Raora look at each other in concern.
“Whatever Ceci is thinking just doesn’t understand, but whatever happens we’ll just try to stay back.” Gigi says.
Raora nods.
“Either way, if Liz does have a crush on her boss and if Ceci tries to stop anything. Liz will just get mad at her.”
“True, we should get back to work now though.”
Gigi says. Raora nods and they both head off.

Liz finally got back from lunch to head back to her desk. She didn’t want to disturb Nerissa working so she quietly headed inside the office.
She saw Nerissa was nowhere to be seen, so she just assumed she was meeting with Biboo and Shiori.
Liz left her coke can on top of her desk and sat down. She tried to briefly remember how the computer worked, despite almost not paying attention.
She sighed and got to working on some of the work Nerissa told her to do prior.
I need this job, but for some reason Nerissa can’t get out of my head...
Liz tried to shake off her thoughts and focused on inputting data in the software Nerissa taught her to do.
She stretched a bit hoping she wouldn’t get stiff shoulders. She then heard the door open. She didn’t pay no mind thinking it was just Nerissa coming back.
“Oh! You’re back already Liz!”
“Ooo, already on a first name basis!”
Liz heard Shiori and Nerissa walk in and she greeted them. She blushed a bit at Shiori’s attempt at teasing them.
“S-shut up Shiori!” Nerissa angrily said back.
Liz laughed a bit at her, feeling her heart warm.
I’m starting to think this is more than a small crush…
Nerissa stared at Liz with awe as she was laughing, feeling her heart swell up.
“Anyways Rissa, about that report I can give to HR tomorrow.”
Nerissa snapped out of her thoughts and went into serious mode quickly.
Liz tried not to eavesdrop too much and went back to her own work.
Shiori stared back at the hardworking Liz, and smiled.
She turned to Nerissa, filling out the paperwork on her report.
“How’s your secretary so far?”
“E-eh? Why bring that up right now?” Nerissa lightly blushed, trying not to share her excitement too much.
“Well she looks handsome enough, look at her in that suit.”
Liz wasn’t paying attention at all, still staring at her computer screen.
“Y-yeah… I mean.. it’s highly inappropriate for employers to be together.”
“Yeah but you can hang out after work and stuff. Maybe even ask her out on a date.”
Nerissa blushed at Shiori’s newfound interest at being interested in her and Liz’s relationship.
All Liz was is her secretary right? Yet why did she make her heart so warm…
“All I’m saying is, you deserve happiness Rissa. You know how it was last time you were dating someone.”
Liz continues staring at her computer screen but overhears the conversation.
“I know Shiori.. I’m not saying Liz is a bad person though.”
Nerissa vaguely looks at her, who still has her eyes on the computer screen.
“But I’m just so scared…”
Shiori hums to herself and thinks for a second.
“Being scared doesn’t last forever, it’s always good to take that plunge to get what you want.”
Nerissa nods still a bit sad.
“It can just be an outing as friends.”
Shiori pats her on the shoulder and heads out.
“Bye Liz!”
Liz perks up at her name and waves back.
“Bye Shiori!”
Nerissa sees Shiori close the door behind her, she briefly sighs and heads back to her own work.
She takes one peak of Liz who’s just answered the telephone.
Nerissa closes her eyes and sighs.
Liz hangs up the phone and turns to Nerissa who has her eyes closed.
“Sorry for bothering you but I got a phone call from HR saying they request your presence.”
“Typical…”
Nerissa sighs and gets up.
“If you get me some tea I’ll let you come with me.”
Liz was now nervous, but said yes without any hesitation.
Nerissa handed her some folders of paperwork.
“Please hold onto these Liz. I’ll need them for later.”
Liz nodded.
“I’ll get your tea then.”
Nerissa nodded and waited for her.
Liz headed to the lunch room where Cecilia was taking a break at.
“Hey Liz.”
“Can I borrow this pot of tea?”
Ceci nodded and continued sipping her tea.
“I’m assuming it’s for Nerissa.”
Liz nodded, and was trying her best to pour the tea into a mug.
“I’ll see you later Cecilia, I gotta go.”
Ceci tried not to show her irritation too much but waved her off.
“I really need to meet this Nerissa woman…”
