Warriors of Fire: The Wrongful Code

Summary:

Three Clans, two Tribes, one prophecy. When all the hidden threads of forbidden love woven into the Clans are suddenly forced into the light, they decide to fight for their right to love rather than submit to being punished for it.

Sort of a Wings of Fire/Warriors crossover but the WoF half is basically not there and replaced with original work, so to not be misleading it isn't tagged

Chapter Text

There are two main species this fic focuses on, those being cats and dragonettes (more on them later); humans don't exist in this world. Both relevant species have spread across the world, and for the most part settled in groups of various sizes. The following are the groups concerned in this prophecy:

FlowerClan: A Clan of cats who live in a meadow.

NightClan: A Clan of cats who live in a dense forest.

WaveClan: A Clan of cats who live on and near a beach.

Orai'ical Tribe: A Tribe of dragonettes who live on and around several large grassy hills.

Sen'neri Tribe: A Tribe of dragonettes who live in a spare forest.

Jez'zel Town: A town of dragonettes who live on broad hill.

The dragonettes are similar to dragons, with the main differences between the two being that dragonettes are on average slightly larger than the average cat, though they can be rarely the size of badgers, and that dragonettes have what are essentially moth wings, and often look like moths in coloration. Their lifespans are around the same as cats', and their native language is Del'carik. They can have hybrids with cats and don't really have any terms for rogues or loners, just 'Tribe dragonettes' and 'non-Tribe dragonettes'.

They believe in the Nem'mori Tribe, essentially their version of StarClan, and the Exiled Nei'mori are their equivalent of Dark Forest cats

Their Tribes are formatted like so:

Em'preyo - Leaders
Can't have Col'naro
Blessed by the Nem'mori Tribe so they have two lives and can eventually heal from anything non-fatal within reason (no regenerating limbs, but anything broken will heal faster, it's less likely for them to die from sicknesses, etc.)

Ten'treyo - Second in command
Can't have Col'naro
Become Em'preyo immediately after the previous one dies, no ceremony needed
Chosen by the new Em'preyo before the nightfall of their first day as Em'preyo
Only Rin'sario can be promoted to Ten'treyo

Ka'rino - Healers
A group of dragonettes can have 1-3 Ka'rino at a time, not counting Col'naro

Lel'eno - Citizens
Don't fight
Hunt, forage, and raise Alo'chio
Can become Rin'sario for however long they want if they aren't raising Alo'chio, voluntarily for the most part, with the exception being when they're at war

Alo'chio - Hatchlings
Dragonettes under six moons of age
Become Col'naro at six moons

Rin'sario - Guards/Warriors
Guards of settlements, fighters
Can become Lel'eno if they want to retire young or raise Alo'chio

Col'naro - Fledglings
Trained by either Lel'eno, Rin'sario, or Ka'rino depending on chosen profession
At the beginning of their teaching, they're taught by all three, one at a time, so they get a feel for each role and have the knowledge with which to choose their future job, though if any role doesn't have open slots for Col'naro that role will be excluded from the rotation

Pel'peyo - Honored elders
Scales often paler with age

Em'preyo, Ka'rino, and Pel'peyo are the ones who normally receive dreams

Naming structure:
(Word name)-(Made-up name), ex. Bdellium-Neleco
Don't change names
Both names together is a dragonette's full name, generally a dragonette goes by one of their names which is their common name
