Work Text:
Sakusa was sure that was her, she would recognize her in every lifetime. The black-haired girl couldn't move a muscle, crouching in front of her was her classmate. Once radiant and affectionate, now plagued by the disease. She was half green and rotting. Sakusa had caught her gnawing on the flesh of a man.
What she's doing is disgusting, terrible and so so beautiful.
Entranced, Kiyoomi couldn't seem to take her eyes off the beautiful creature she once knew. She took a step forward causing the zombie to whip its head towards her. Kiyoomi flinched but didn't run. She wasn't going to let her go again; she had made that mistake once.
“Miya...?” kiyoomi uttered , testing her luck and stepping closer and closer to her until she was looking right down at Atsumu.
Atsumu didnt move.
Sakusa reached down and slowly caressed the girl's cheek. She was sweaty but glowing brighter than any human could ever dream of. The zombie girl hesitantly put her green hand over Kiyoomi's while nuzzling into the warmth. Atsumu seemed to struggle but let out a small “Omi..”
Sakusa’s face lit up and promised herself one thing.
I’m never letting Miya Atsumu leave me.
Kiyoomi helped Miya to her feet, she stumbled but Kiyoomi held her stable.
As they walked, Atsumu leaning on Sakusa, Kiyoomi could still smell the honey shampoo clinging onto the zombie's hair. Though, the smell of rotting flesh overpowered anything. They walked in silence, Atsumu sporadically groaning. Once they reached Kiyoomi's hide out, their steps slowed, Kiyoomi led Atsumu in and sat her down on the run-down bed.
One of Atsumus' eyes was a pale white, Kiyoomi looked deep into them, mesmerized.
Kiyoomi wondered how conscious Atsumu really was, she clearly recognized Sakusa but struggled to talk in full sentences. As if she could hear the other girl's thoughts, Atsumu let out a painful “Its... Really ya.” Kiyoomi smiles, stroking Atsumus bright blonde hair, raking through the dried blood. “I didn't think you would recognize me.”
Atsumus eyes widen, “How could I possibly forget ya, Omi.?” She put her bloodied hands on Kiyoomi's hips who was standing between her legs, looking down to see Atsumus face.
Atsumus smile was still as sweet as anything. To Kiyoomi, Atsumu being a zombie was nothing to worry about, simply something the two of them would have to become accustomed to together. Sakusa would worship Atsumus' whole being, Zombie or not, that didn't matter to her.
Kiyoomi remembered how class would be, before everything went to shit.
“OMI!” Atsumu would yell before class, running over to Kiyoomi's desk. Kiyoomis eyes trained on the way Atsumu’s skirt would swish back and forth, her thighs on full display. “Ya didn't answer my text last night!” She had a pout on her pink lips, the same lips Kiyoomi couldn't seem to pull her eyes away from.
“I guess you're right Atsu, I must’ve been sleeping.” She lied. The truth was that Kiyoomi couldn't bring herself to respond after Atsumu had sent a selfie. A selfie of Atsumus upper half sitting up in her bed, her back against the headboard. Her bed looked as though Atsumu was sleeping on a cozy cloud. With a fluffy light pink blanket covering her legs. She was holding up a peace sign. What Kiyoomi couldn't pull her eyes away from was Atsumus face, her round doe eyes stared at the camera, and she stuck her tongue out. Oh, how Kiyoomi would love to bite it.
Kiyoomi had saved the photo to her galley.
“It's okay Omi, though I was worried! I thought ya died on me!!’ Atsumu exclaimed as she pulled up a chair and leaned her chin atop her arms to stare up at Kiyoomi.
“Don't worry Atsu, I would never.” Atsumu giggled at that.
A wince from Atsumu snaped Kiyoomi right back to reality.
“Come on Atsu, let's go.” At that, Atsumu looked confused, “Where Omi?”
“You need flesh to survive, right?” Kiyoomi didn't care if what she was about to do was considered wrong. The only thing that mattered to her was to keep Atsumu by her side. Atsmu understood what Sakusa was saying.
The zombie stood up, stumbled, and followed Kiyoomi out, holding onto her arm.
Sakusa spotted a boy; he looked about their age, maybe older. She approached him. The boy startled from the steps then realized that Kiyoomi was a human. The boy smiled, how naive.
He opened his mouth to talk but before the boy could even get a single word out, Kiyoomi lifted the axe she was hiding behind her back and quickly struck it down on the boy's head. She felt no remorse as she dragged the boy's lifeless body back over to where she had told Atsumu to stay put. She smiled as she dropped the body in front of Atsumu. Kiyoomi was a dog, wagging its tail as it presented a dead mouse at its owners' feet.
Kiyoomi watched in awe as Atsumu kneeled over the body, ripping into its side and taking huge bites. Blood spewed with every bite, but Kiyoomi payed no mind to that. She eyed Atsumu like a hawk; a crazed look plastered on her face. Warmth spread through Kiyoomi's body as Atsumu finished off all the flesh connected to the boys' bones.
Atsumu looked up from her meal, blood dripping from her mouth and falling on her torn up shirt.
The light from a nearby lamppost flickered and shone on one side of Atsumu’s face, illuminating her single brown eye.
She stared at Kiyoomi through her lashes. Kiyoomi has never seen someone more beautiful in her life.
Atsumu pounced on Sakusa. Kiyoomi didn't fight her off, if Atsumu wanted to kill her, Kiyoomi would gladly let her bite her and would smile as she rips the last bits of the flesh right off her body.
Instead, they both fall to the ground and Atsumu starts kissing her.
Kiyoomis eyes widen and she sits up, Atsumu in her lap. Kiyomi viscously kisses her back. Atsumus skin felt cold on Kiyoomis.
Atsumu stops for a moment and mutters a small “omi..” Kiyoomi captures her lips again and the zombies tongue roams around inside of her mouth.
The two girls separate for a moment to catch their breath, and Kiyoomi smiles manically down at Atsumu.
The Zombie is never going to be able to get away from Kiyoomi after this.
