It was a day like any other......
okay no, that was a lie!
It was an important day.
You see...currently someone is fiddling in my insides.
Truly taking and surping my energy to the fullest.
And by none other than a living legend too....
Those stern scary eyes oh my I'm turning red!
,,Rudeus, why are you squirming? We're about to begin today's first test! Do not lose focus''
Ah yes. Perugius had a point..
,,I'm terribly sorry Lord Perugius, it's just always an weird feeling to have such amounts of mana taken from me!''
,,No wonder. With a Mana pool like yours I really doubt you'd ever run dry''
Its true that my mana pool was basically unlimited for everyday usage. In the Shirone war I noticed that most mages would already collapse after casting 2 at most 3 saint tier spells. Doesn't mean that I Never run dry tho. Take just the fight against Orsted, I really used every drop of Mana in that...Sometimes i do wonder how my mana pool would look without the Laplace factor!
Mhhhh thinking about Sylphie also has a big mana pool compared to many other mages. Not to forget Roxy! They could both cast a king tier spell and still put up a decent fight afterwards. Would I be somewhere around that level?
Probably not it's just that my wife's are that amazing! And I am just that lucky...I can't imagine if Roxy would've had the Laplace factor. She would become a goddess.....wait no she is one. What comes after goddess? Outer god?
,,Rudeus the preparations are done let us begin the first test run!''

Perugius snapped me out of thought. Usually I'd really have to do nothing except let my mana leak out but for Nanahoshis sake I really do wish to try and concentrate. After all this is basically her lives work...
I inserted my two hands into the little openings meant for them. The instant the 12 familiars began pumping mana in Perugius also began to direct my immense mana pool. I breathed heavily trying to keep the flow as steady and continuous as possible. I don't understand nearly as much about magic circles like Perugius and Nanahoshi do however I assumed they can be compared with other mechanical stuff too you can't change the input energy without expecting some problems.
Slowly the gigantic magic circle began to glow. First the outside of it and then slowly creeping into the inside towards the small Lamb we had put in the center. Little guy you're up for an Adventure! After a minute or so the glow suddenly fully disappeared. The lamb vanished in a white flash leaving behind only the now back to standard magic circle....
We waited a couple moments till Sylvaril declared the result of the teleportation based on the Reading machine Nanahoshi had designed above it.
,,Expected of Something that was looked over and called perfect by Lord Perugius himself. A total success!''

Letting out a girly scream the Designer of the magic circle who was unsurprisingly a girl jumped up and down her cheeks flushed red.
I couldn't help but Smile at her pure unfiltered happiness. It was a heartwarming sight and I could only understand it. That feeling of success when you spend so much time on something and it actually works. Almost like when I did that first king tier spell....just that I didn't really spend time on it. Oh wait the magic armor!......okay it worked but it proved irrelevant against the enemy. Geez do I know that feeling?
,,Thank you Lord Perugius! Thank you Rudeus! I'm sure after just one more test we can then send me back home!!!''
,,I am sure of it!''
I did feel kinda bad telling her this when honestly in my heart I had my doubts. By no means did I think Nanahoshis circle was faulty. I think that there was simply a missing piece. That wasn't intuition or anything rather it was what I'd found in the future diary. All I can do now is prepare and make sure that if in this timeline the magic circle really fails that I will stop Nanahoshi from....her original fate.

Or was it simply childishness? Eh whatever. He would forever play with Beatrice like that even if he was a balding 70 year old man! At the interaction many at the table let out a laugh. That's right the table was fully packed. At it sat Garfiel, Emilia, Otto, Wilhelm, Reinhard, Felt, Julius, Anastasia, Crusch and Felix! It was nice to see them all again. Especially Crusch after her memory loss from the encounter with Gluttony..........rem

Thats right! The reason they were here wasn't for a nice Japanese style dinner. It was so they could get the mana crystals they'd need to get Puck back!
Rem is being taken care of by big sis and Roosi. Altough I don't trust latter I can't deny there's probably only one at our table right now who would be a better bodyguard than him...Mh wait my whole camp except a couple are here but...

Ricardo and Mimi playing? That was an image Subaru needed to see! After thanking for the meal he stood up and went through the big house. Mansion? It sure was mansion sized but with the Japanese building style....perhaps a villa? Before he could contemplate any further which word fit this place the best he arrived at the Yard Beatrice right next to him holding his hand. There in the grass he saw a big ball of brown fur laying on the ground as an Orange ball used it as a trampoline.

Subaru couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. He helped the Tired Ricardo up from the ground- the tired Ricardo used the beanstalk as hold to push himself up and then cracked all the joints in his back.
To be honest Subaru at first was a little wary of this trip. Sure it's been a year since the last mayor conflict and the last....death....but yet Subarus experience told him events like ,,Go to priestilla to revive teammate puck!'' would always end with something messing up and a huge boss fight against a sin archbishop or so. However not only was the city beautiful but there wasn't also any drama with the people.....except heinkel and Priscilla who showed up yesterday to ruin the little development Wilhelm and Reinhard had just made. Just thinking about it pissed him off!
Still it was their bussiness. He wasn't gonna stand by when they got ridiculed right infront of him but he also wasn't going to actively interfere when at the moment it was okay.
The other thing that had worried Subaru was the host of this ,,party'' Anastasia wasn't exactly known as the most generous of all. She wasn't a bad person absolutely not but Subaru would lie if he said she was all good. She was a women with priorities and a damn annoying knight.
To not talk around the bush. Subaru expected a clear outer motive in Anastasia's invitation. Otto had already warned them about potential stuff. Like Emilia's camp having to publicly acknowledge having taken help from Anastasia which would make them seem dependent or maybe just great sums of money which Roswaal could quite easily supply. Till now none of it however showed.
At the calm Subaru let out a peaceful satisfied sigh as Mimi having spotted Garfiel going to take a dump ran right at him and Ricardo right behind. He sat down on the yard and looked up at the orange reddish sky.

Just when Subarus eyes turned unfocused he noticed something.......a star? It was already sunset to be fair but still from Subarus experience this world didn't have any Morning or Noon star.
Okay to be exact morning and noon star were the same object that is Venus which is a planet so calling it a star is-

Suddenly Beatrice's face contorted to a mixture of fear and for most worry. At that exact second the villas door flew open with a swarm of people coming out. It were the different camps!

Subaru looked at the different faces that began pooling in. Soon it was everyone from the dinner table. He held Beatrice's hand tighter and quickly slid down to a knee to ask what was the matter

Subaru has never seen Beatrice seriously that awed by a spell. Also describing one's mana as huge. The only one she ever did this for were puck and..

Not able to hide his anger or rather not willing to anyway Subaru stepped up right into Roswaals face
If he weren't the one holding Rem right now he probably would've also gotten a push or two.

Ram gestured to the likes of Reinhard, Julius, Roswaal and the other strong fighters.
Damn it she had a point.
Frederica wasn't weak by any means but Subaru was now long enough in this world to roughly assume the strenght of someone and he could see that if someone like Elsa were to attack the mansion again she would stand no chance.
Here were some of if not the most powerful people in the world united.

The Object began changing colors. From black to red white green and blue repeating that order faster and faster. Reinhard grabbed his sword and narrowed his eyes onto the Star.

At that statement the whole Group froze. Many quickly changed their gazes to calculating looks contemplating their next action carefully.
The one who was Clearly the most scared was Garfiel. The term ,,entire city'' also included his Mom and two half siblings. They could not risk an sudden impulse decision that would lead to total erasure for the civilians.

A voice as loud as imposing as the sun rang out. Subaru honestly found her voice beautiful, that did not change however that what the voice of hers said was anything but ,,beautiful''

Subaru couldn't help but shout at her. Her indifference to everyone and everything was getting to her. Wildly he gestured up at the star that was still changing colors even faster than before now.

Aldebaran promptly stepped into the angered Subarus way who was just about to confront Priscilla up close.

It was at that second that from the Star a white light shot down into the ground only a hundred meters or so away from the group. The only one to see it were Reinhard and Subaru. For Reinhard about 4 divine protections promptly warned him about the sudden mana release.
Subaru was merely coincidentally looking in the direction cause he swear he heard a sound there.

Rudeus and Perugius were once again facing eachother as usual. They were pumping mana into the Machine as usual. Perugius redirected Rudeus massive amounts of mana like usual.
The circle glowed as usual.
The only unusual thing was that the Being in the center of the circle wasn't an animal or a plant but a real human. Nanahoshi Shizuka. On her back strapped a big bag. Everything went as normal till the circle fully closed it. Suddenly the color from it switched from blue to a deep black and....a flash appeared. A familiar white flash. However instead of it sorounding Nanahoshi it surrounded the empty air around her.
,,What the?!''
,,Rudues! Stop the mana output at once!''
At Perugius command Rudeus instantly cut off any mana supply.....the white light stopped.
In the empty space around-
In the Former empty space around Nanahoshi stood several people. Adults, kids and teens.
1...5....9...13...17..20!
20 people were standing there.
Without hesitating all the servants of Perugius got into battle stances. Rudeus followed alike and assumed his usual posture he would hold to fire stone cannons. Nanahoshi quickly ran away from the circle to exit the possible line of crossfire....
The group included lots of different people. The hair colors also greatly differed. From a striking red to a low green.
The first to speak up had black colored hair.

Perugius stared at the bunch and didn't answer. His eyes narrowed.

Perugius still didn't say anything. He looked to his servants who also shook their head in confusion.

The bunch was speaking Japanese after all.
The girl who was just now terrified now instead seemed amazed by the situation....she grabbed a handful of her long black hair. And then looked at the similairly black haired boy.
Without hesitation she ran forward pushing past the others and grabbing his hands.

Subaru looked astonished. Usually he would blush if a girl held his hands like that but the situation was too serious to get flustered over it. Emilia stepped forward pouting a little...

Nanahoshi took a glance at the group. That was when she began noticing the gigantic brown furry and the small orange kitten...Rudeus finally spoke up.

The Big Group of people was brought to the place. At all times the strongest of the Servants surrounded them making sure none of them intends to cause any harm.
In the teleported group talks happend during the walk.

Especially Anastasia who actively tried to find infos of him but couldn't assumed Subaru was some sort of hidden Vollachian noble or perhaps a known strategist from Gusteko..beyond the waterfall tho? That's ridiculous....atleast till now. In a place with people who speak a language they've never heard before suddenly the whole idea seems less crazy.

Embarrassed at Felix making her seem a little slow crusch quickly backed down from her at first little stern demand of the situation. Seems like she was trying to regain the authority she once had and everyone told her about. It at the least worked on Subaru.

Julius added all the while Aldebaran nodded as if it was new information. Subaru thought it was weird but maybe he wanted his similair situation to stay secret.

Someone loudly cleared their voice all of a sudden. It was a servant of Perugius. Arumanfi. He said something first in human tounge....then fighting god tounge. Ultimately he went to Rudeus. The man in a coat that has been standing behind them for a while...he stepped forward to Subaru. The height difference wasn't too big but with his mature look Rudeus sure seemed taller.
Rudeus: ...he's saying you guys should get a move. Don't feel super nervous tho. We are just....worried you see.....may I ask who the leader of this bunch is?

That was a hard decision to make considering 5 rivaling political factions were in there

Subaru still felt unsure however since there didn't come any more interferences, not even from Priscilla which he found especially surprising he began to waver....then he looked at the sleeping beauty on Rams back...if she was awake she would've probably told him to handle it. At the thought he simply smiled and walked after Rudeus, beatrice in hand. Rudeus lead them away from the main group through some hallway

We've been walking for a while till we finally reached the guest room. I sighed as I sat down and plumped onto the couch. Oh crap!
I quickly straightened my back and got my professional stare back on.

Seriously tho what was going on? Just before in this room I had a heartfelt talk with Nanahoshi about our goodbyes just for this to happen....a reverse summoning? No not even that. I gave human graceful greeting with a bow not quite meant for nobility but for someone you respect. I didn't know where exactly he stood in his group but based on that they chose him for the leader it atleast spoke some volume...also I added the titles for coolness. I was well aware he definitely has never heard of Dragon god or Asura but now his mind is probably all ,woah! A big shot! Crap better attempt and be as polite as I can!'...
When I looked up from my bow I saw the young man stand extremely weirdly. The little girl with blonde drill like hair beside him seemed embarrassed of his behavior.

Don't tell me our experiment today....caused a displacement incident in another universe?!
The description is too similair. Mana accumulation with rings that flickered before releasing a pillar of light that teleported every living being...just like back then. However they were simply teleported on their planet but to a different world. This didn't happen back then! .....or maybe it did? A lot of the people weren't found. Who knows maybe being send to another planet or universe was a possibility from the start it's just that it's quite rare...
From their conversations before I can assume they were in a city.....if it really is a displacement incident then....crap! Should I tell them?.....usually I would but....we have so much on our minds now. Geese is still out there. When I first saw them on that circle I thought maybe it was a plan from him however this happening was never mentioned in the future diary where the circle simply didn't work at all and now where I talked to the leader the possibility seems less likely.....especially since me and Perugius looked over the whole magic circle before the test.
I think I'll keep the possibility of the city being destroyed a secret at first

Really this was a lot less exhausting than I'd at first thought. I was expecting some sort of argument maybe a lot less cooperation but this dude was open. I liked him no question. I laughed....it was clear we both always had to think back of the isekai mangas we used to read not imagining this actually happening to us...he seemed like a good guy really. I had a friend like him in middle school. He moved cities tho never saw him again. Who knows how my life would've played out if he stayed....

I went to Perugius and reported my findings. He seemed satisfied with it and allowed them to stay for however long they want to till the issue is fixed. I guess he realized it is our fault that they're here so we can't just dump them on the street.
