Chapter 1: Once A Fool, Always A Fool

Chapter Text

It was a beautiful night: skies shinier than lapis, time where the coldness of the evermore snow reached your fingertips and laughed alongside you and the a moment where everything seemed to be perfect. Well, it was not.

For Chance at least – it wasn't, playing decks and decks of cards with your life on the line and adrenaline as the prize was never a fair game, perhaps he underestimated this old friend too much to be acute. A heart he thought was frozen of solitude and pictured as warming was too good to be true. A life of Gamble was Never an ease to begin with.

Beyond the crossroads and woods, an unfortunate robloxian soon met their fate: pleading and left alone like destiny fated and planned to be, yet intertwined with another who was doomed with the same fate.

Forsook and bleed with all their regrets gushing out their intestines – where all their mistakes that they failed to escape, exploded out – and frozen in the heartless skin of time as the last moments poured out in sorrows and reminiscence of a greater than that they risked away.

The relentless memory haunted them, the time where their coin was lost and what followed was hell. Besides their ear, a bell rang loud and soaring that finally snapped them back to the doomed reality.

A cabin amidst the hell they were doomed into: played, toyed and flung effortlessly like a slide to a pistol, vodka to a glass and a coin to the ground.

“Chance! Heyy, are you daydreaming?” The face of a pizza-boy shoved into their vision, charming and pure-hearted – what luck, Lady Luck!

“Oh my, who is this glorious in my sight.” The gambler remarked, “What luck I’ve had this day!” teasing the robloxian in front of him.

“Chance, you know I’m just checking on you.” Elliot chuckled; “How glamorous you laugh my dear.” They pursued.

“Why thank you I suppose.”

“Anything for the purest.” He charmed, “A prince like you is one lucky sight, you should know.” leaning to his shoulder.

“Lovely to have you around.” The pizza-boy commented.

“And it’s the greatest to have you around here.” Chance declared, proudly and sincerely. Following the yellow-skinned before being lusted out by other things: gambling slots.

“Have fun making pizzas kiddo.” He walked upstairs, the smell of chances and excitement already thrilling their senses before they saw it, magnificent radiance.

Already winning jackpots and jackpots until the spark of thrill lost meaning once more again. Sitting senselessly in front of what he deemed as the universe’s perfect just moments ago, nullity in control once again. It was unfiltered boredom minutes ago, or hours, until he was approached: Chicken Shedletsky.

“Hey man,” Chance ecstatically greeted, waving overwhelmingly as the brunette strolled closer and closer. “What’s good!”

“Great to see you too!” Shedletsky already matched the energy levels, “I’m just asking if you have time right now, nothin’ important.” taking a gambler’s seat besides him.

“Sure thing dude, so what’d you need?”

“Pretty much like a meeting spoiler because the admins are about to make another you know?” Shedletsky clarified, "And they apparently needed to know what relations you have with killers, for idunno reasons.”

“Well…” Chance started, “There’s this dude that wants me to pay debt because I ‘apparently’ scammed or is indebted to him and pretty much nothing else.” a smirk forming.

“Wait how?” Shedletsky was invested; “I pretty much went to this shady casino and there were LOADS of rigged games, and you know, but I won from luck alone; so he chases me to pay some nonexistent debt and he just can’t let go.

“Hmmm…” Shedletsky processed, “Lucky you, I sure do need to land my slashes correctly one day.” he laughed. “Oh hang on, I need to do something real quick, I’ll be right back!”

“Kay dude,” He waved goodbyes. People were all the same anyways, going to you when it’s the last thing they need. “C’ya later!”

“You too buds!” Shedletsky waved back, going outdoors – of course.

And the longer he waited – not for anyone, but for the next despairing round – the more their stomach twisted and rolled with knives buried inside, and the water he drank before bloated them quarter-dead until it swollen with as much pain as it did for their stomach before.

Although it was one of the worst pains he felt, no scream nor sound left him. Merely, clutching their abdomen as the feelings of daggers gashed more and more in every corner of their intestines with their skin fine as rubber on the outside. Not even a gasp was uttered.

As more cold sweat bursted out, he quivered intolerantly till he stumbled off their bar stool; forcibly grating their teeth – failing to ease the pain – as their chest obstructed as if it’s the end. A timer overshadowed his eyes, a virtual countdown.

With only trifling seconds left to spare, he clasped their eyelids hard and preserved; wishing for a halt to the agony.

Nothing, nothing other than the pain stopped. One way, it was good but in another way it was far from positive.

“Anomally.” He muttered, as he grazed their ordinary stomach – when just a moment ago it was piercing beyond movement. Starstrucked, he was dazzled before reaching in their sleeves to find nothing; sprinting rashly downstairs and heading for the outdoors.

Turning sharp corners before being stood upon Jane Doe’s territory, and entering the basement as silently as he could; creeping down the steep stairs with an empty goosehead.

Thankfully, she was in the round at the moment. Pulling out their pistol, he placed it quickly on the floor, and it revolved in a couple of thrice spins until it pointed at the left corner besides the entrance, ha indication.

Hummingly searching the corner until a brown leathery booklet caught their attention. “Found ya!” he jabbered, snatching the logbook quickly and dusting all the grime off until keeking it open with fluttering legs.

As Jane Doe was in the manor completing a generator, a loud thud fell from the yard besides her. Connecting the last wire, she cautiously hauled out a jar as vigilance in case; striding patiently as she stood bordering the wall neighbouring the entrance. Peeking out, she saw a robloxian laying near-lifeless on the ground.

A small pool of black blood soaked beneath into their clothes and the crude hard soil, a robloxian sagged onto the ground, incapable of moving. Their clothes ragged as well.

Her moral laws overlapping her survival mentality, she bolted to help the other supposed survivor. Storing away her defense, she crouched down to inspect the yellow robloxian, heaving lowly.

“..Kid…?” She asked, not quite expecting a response as she reluctantly reached out a hand to the unresponsive robloxian. Her palm placed on their side collarbone, an eerie feeling told her not to roll over to the face. “Please be alright..” She groaned.

Manhandling the younger one onto her back and into a piggyback – a black gooey matter left imprinted on the ground, she trudged out to search for the other survivors. Whilst on her back, the robloxian slowly had their ribcaged breathing larging and larging onto her back – at least he was alive.

At the distance, she saw Slasher chasing Shedletsky around the pillar with a staircase; 007n7’s bloodied head rolling into her sight unsettingly, though assuming it was his clone since he wasn’t one to die so soon and without a sweat.

As she pondered whether to help Shedletsky, Noob suddenly ran towards her holding out a medkit wide in their hands. “Miss Jane!” They called, sprinting hastily from their bloxy cola.

“Oh.” Noob remarked, “I t-thought you were on low health; and w-who’s that on your back, ma’am?” Storing back their medkit and stepping closer to curiosity to inspect.

“A kid I found unconscious by the manor.”

“I-I think they’re a survivor,” Noob observed, stepping closer to the blonde. “They look surprisingly like m-me too.”

“Noted.” Jane replied, “How so?” Hoisting up the loosening grip on the unconscious stranger. An icy chill surging into her skin beneath the cloak.

“It-t’s like…” Noob began, “The hair, skin and… a w-weir-rd feeling… It's creepily similar.” fidgeting with their fingers shakily. “I c-can’t exactly describe it but it’s a feeling…”

“Hmmm.” Jane hummed. “Odd, what about their face?”

“C-can’t see.” Noob answered, “It’s covered with t-their hair.” stepping closer to the robloxian. “They wouldn’t mind, r-right?”

“Definitive.”

“Ok-kay then..” They huffed, swiping away the unconscious robloxian’s long hair to their ear. “Huh!” Noob gasped.

“What’s wrong?!” Jane exclaimed, “Is there a parasite, infection or an injury?” Subconsciously loosening her grip on the other survivor.

“Oh n-no,” Noob retorted, “Oh it’s n-nothing like that.” They swung their arms. “It’s just… there’s kind of a w-weird censor. Something l-like a code would have.”

“A code you say…” Jane Doe thought, the image of builderman’s oh-so innocent face flashed in her mind. “I’ll look into that kiddo, thanks.”

“Y-y-you’re welcome Miss Jane-” Noob jittered, their arms loose on their waist. Until a crash from Vee interrupted them, her skateboard flung into the sky and accelerated down. Landing in front of Noob.

“Sorry guys!” Veeronica apologised. ”I thought I was chased by Jason so I skated away; and before I knew it I crashed into you guys, really sorry!”

“Hey hey, don’t w-worry.” Noob assured. “It’s alright.”

“I promise this won’t happen again!” Veeronica held up her pinky finger. “And it’s a promise, Nooby!”

“Oh alr-right…!” Noob agreed, “Promise it is!” holding up theirs as well.

“That’s the spirit buddy!” Veronica rejoiced, intertwining her finger with theirs. Turning her head, interest sparked for her like it did for Noob. “Jane!” She asked, “Who’s that you’re piggy-backing?” erecting herself up.

“Some kid I found ‘round the manor.” Jane Doe answered. “Might be an interesting one.”

“Hmmm, unique. Can I see them?” Veeronica asked, stepping closer to Jane Doe. “They look… pretty normal.” She remarked, “It’s been awhile since we’ve had an ordinary robloxian; but what’s the face censor and the dripping black stuff?” she pointed at.

“I’m quite unsure. I’ll be sure to see what it is though, perhaps one of us – survivors – is informative on this one.”

“I’m p-p-pretty sure Miss Jane agreed it was a-a code.” Noob added, shuffling their thumbs. “B-but it’s not confirmed though!”

“You alright, kiddo?” Jane asked. “You’re more anxious than before, moments ago.”

“I-I-I’m good!” Noob reassured, “..Just s-some bad memories, that’s all..” whipping their brittle face as if there’s tears.

“...Alright then buddy,” Veeronica appended, “Let’s get you back up before the killer attacks us.” reaching out a helping hand to Noob.

“Thanks, Vee.”

“A-no-problem Nooby.” Vee inspirited. “Tell me if you need anything, I’m always here.”

Shedletsky groaned, his health already on one-hit till instant death, and with his chicken at cooldown and sword that he’s just missed, he’s bound to die soon since no one is near. As Slasher caught up to him at a breath’s distance, they gashed their sword at him; yet miraculously Guest interposed, saving Shedletsky’s prey-short’s life.

“Thanks, Guest!” Shedletsky choked out, his arm covering only a little of the brutal laceration. Limpingly sprinting away and hiding behind the gravestones – praying that it’s enough to hide for a little while.

Now Shedletsky’s escaped, Guest is faced with the angered Slasher – who seems to be more inflamed whenever it’s faced against Guest, and only Guest. Bracing for the incoming impact of Slasher, Guest instinctively threw a punch with all his might at Slasher, hoping to stun him for even a little.

Landing straight at its face, Slasher had to reconstruct its broken stance from toe to head as Guest had already escaped. Looking for Shedletsky.

“Hey Shedletsky,” Guest announced out of nowhere – scaring Shedletsky merely, “I was looking for you for a while but I’ve also found this medkit.” Handing medical supply to him. “I’ll spare some time for you whilst you heal yourself.”

“Thank you, man.” Shedletsky thanked, quickly taking it off him.

Sprinting out again, Guest ran out to the open grounds near the poisoned bodies of waters; Slasher chased another survivor: Two Time. The defensiveless stunner that always found a way to sneak up on killers.

The spawnist, who seems to be horribly struggling, was gashed into a slashing wound of Slasher, its emotionless exterior being driven by emotions locked onto Guest the moment he stepped close.

With one more slash from Slasher, Two Time faltered and their body collapsed inhumanly, a pang of guilt spat at Guest from the sight. Only a second too delayed, Slasher tried to behead Guest but he defied it and it latched onto his collarbone, the pain radiating through him.

Crumbling from the attack, Slasher thrusted its chainsaw that leached onto Guest’s torso until hurling him onto a nearby obstacle, more violent than what they did with Twotime.

Upon the impact on the wall, Guest collapsed on the ground before Slasher towed him facing its face. Weakly, Guest charged with all his force onto Slasher, barely enough for him to escape its grasp.

As Guest desperately escaped, Slasher quickly regained its composure and scurried after him; Slasher threw another gashing wound yet it was countered by Guest’s instinctive lucky block. As they chased after him, Veeronica nastily threw her skate and herself at Slasher, her bumper launching him backwards.

“You alright, big guy?” Veeronica questioned, running alongside him.

“If not for you, I’d be dead moments ago. Just had to thank you.” Guest indebted himself, clutching his shoulder.

“Haha, no problem. I’d do it anytime, and anywhere.”

“It’s great to have you on the team, Vee!” Guest complimented, his stamina pretty low as he looked back – Slasher catching up to them. “Vee, run; I’ll stall Slasher.”

“Alright.” Vee responded, running past her graffiti and skateboarding upslope.

Charging at Slasher more successfully this time, he managed to shove the killer further; enraging its mind. Definitely being more vicious, Slasher slung out its arm and tricked Guest into being baited into another gashing wound, its other arm finishing the job.

As they looked up, Shedletsky was chasing Veeronica from the corner of an obstacle, taking the new target, and Slasher stalked on them as silently as they could. Its escaped victim from before returning, they lounge out its chainsaw again to close some distance before the prey decamped once more.

Almost slashing its survivor, the hacker slammed between the two, taking the hit – stupidly they thought. Changing its target, Slasher chased after 007n7 until he died only mere moments later after they lost its distance, fucking clone.

“Good save, man. I might’ve died sooner or later if ya didn’t do that!” Shedletsky flattered. The hacker not daring to even have eye contact with the admin, wasting time rechecking the exploit tablet instead.

“No need to thank me.” 007n7 dryly retorted, wanting to leave quicker as he monitored his gadget.

“Where’d Vee go anyways,” Shedletsky said to himself, placing his hand on his forehead comedically. “Swore she was around here… somewhere.”

“Probably across the bridge.”

“Eyyy thanks,” Shedletsky responded quickly, sprinting forwards as 007n7 followed. “You should talk more often dude. Have some joy instead of being so depressive, pleasee.”

Unwilling to reply verbally, he only nodded slightly in response – whether Shedletsky saw it or not was not his problem.

Crossing the bridge, the sounds of heavy footsteps rushed louder and louder. Lifesavingly, Shedletsky struck Slasher with his sword; he and 007n7 escaped once again.

Taking the small moment to breathe, Shedletsky glanced at 007n7 again. “And that’s why you should talk more; I know you’ve heard it too, probably quicker since I saw you sped up.” Shedletsky apprised. 007n7, once again, unreactive to him.

Barely getting a moment to replenish themselves from the exhaustion, Slasher returned to the chase again. As they ran for their lives, Shedletsky was too slow and was caught on the machete’s behead; he was bashed on the submental area, his body almost collapsing sideways just narrowly after the splotches of blood gushed out of him perpetually.

In the moment of sheer helplessness for Shedletsky, 007n7 threw out a clone of homeself; bodyblocking a lethal slash from Slasher, Shedletsky was saved just merely. Gripping onto Shedletsky's wrist, 007n7 dragged the admin as much distance as he could before Slasher was one swing away from fatality before they – the killer – were rammed into by another survivor: Veeronica.

“Guys run!” Vee yelp, stalling time for the defenceless two. Running another direction from the duo, and gliding the attention off the sentinel and onto herself.

Gripping onto Shedletsky’s shoulder instead, he pulled Shedletsky away from what he hoped to not be a bloodspattered mess. Resting the powerless Shedletsky against a wall of a gravestone.

“Your head’s a gory mess,” 007n7 pointed out, checking at the distance to see how Vee was holding against Slasher. “The wounds should’ve made you unable to resuscitate. The blood will cause Slasher to easily find us.”

“Woah never knew this apathetic dude can be so caring.” Shedletsky jested, gritting his agonizing face uncomfortably.

“I’m not caring,” The hacker retaliated. “It's out of moral concerns.”

“Fine, fine, but why are you so cold all the time?” Shedletsky asked. “Metaphorically and literally.”

“...Trapped in hell.”

“I know, I know.” Shedletsky retorted obliviously. “But why?”

“That’s respectfully none of your concerns.” 007n7 dismissed.

As Jane Doe, Noob and the mysterious other survivor ventured on  the other side of the district – without Veeronica, who’s suddenly left. Walking together, Noob noticed something within their sight.

“M-miss Jane,” They stuttered, “I think I see l-lots of b-b-blood there..” pointing their finger at the mass splatters of blood.

“Slasher might be nearby.” Jane warned. As lightly as she could, she ungrasped the unconscious survivor off her back. “Check over there to see if there’s anyone in need of help,” She instructed Noob. “Please take the other young one with you – I’ll be back soon.”

“Y-yes, Miss Jane!”

Following Jane Doe’s instruction, Noob escorted themselves and the other survivor – somehow carrying them in their arms – they went behind the graveyard; where they saw the critical Shedletsky and 007n7.

“Wh-hat happened here…!” Noob gasped, almost dropping the other survivor off them. “Wait, I’ve got a medkit!” Gently resting the other survivor against the wall besides Shedletsky.

“Who’s this?” Shedletsky coughed, the blood soaked around him.

“S-someone M-m-miss Jane found. New s-survivor s-she said they were.” They summarised, searching through their baggage to find the medkit they stored just half an hour beforehand. “Wait a-a little!”

“No worries, but they do look familiar though.” Shedletsky mentioned, 007n7 – who’s by the side – flinched.

“Found i-it!”

Kneeling beside Shedletsky, they opened the medkit and started to tinker Shedletsky’s injuries; their fingers shaking violently yet still completing the task successfully. “That s-should be it.”

“Thanks, man!” Shedletsky thanked, rubbing the abdomen. “My stomach is hurting for no reason.”

“Huh, w-why?” Noob asked.

“It started feeling worse – about – when the other kid came.” Shedletsky remarked. “Let’s get Vee now, she must be still stalling at Slasher right now.”

“O-okay!”

Following Shedletsky, the others left their hideout to search for the others. Upon reaching the centre of the district, a strong smell of metallic carnage blew in their faces. Blood smears everywhere with two bodies and three dead clones laid on the grassless dirt.

“I might puke.” Shedletsky remarked, his face full of disgust at the sight he couldn’t get used to. Noob nodded in agreement; and 007n7's face was unreadable of emotions.

“W-w-we need to look for M-miss Jane!” Noob prompted, fidgeting with their fingers anxiously.

“Understood yer there;” Shedletsky replied, “But where is she though?” his focal point circling all throughout where his head can turn and where his sight can reach.

“I h-hope s-she’s n-n-n-not dead…” Noob stammered, clenching their sidebody bag rigidly, their gaze sharpening into stark racing heartbeats.

“I dunno where she is, kid, but definitely alive for sure though.” The admin reassured the distressed Noob, patting on their back. “Trust me, she’s alright.” He grinned, uncanny sharp pupils forming.

“D-d-definately… M-mr Shedletsky..”

“No need to be all gloomy, man.” Shedletsky coaxed – too sugary, nudging closer to Noob and slowly assertively slumping the palm of his hand on Noob’s shoulder – slowly pulling them forward.

“S-Shedletsky…?” Noob fretted, snapping back to their usual timid self.

“Nothin’ kid!” Shedletsky dismissed, as if he didn’t do anything. “So what were ya gonna ask me?” Quickly dropping his arm off them.

“O-o-oh!” Noob uttered in shock. “U-uh… n-n-n-nothing..”

“Alright then,” Shedletsky left at, “We should be heading to find Jane. Let's go quick before she’s hurt.” offering a lending hand to Noob.

Almost distant from their mind, Noob was delayed by a few seconds before accepting Shedletsky’s help. Once they held hands, the robloxian Noob was holding moments before dropping – hard – on the ground as Shedletsky sprinted with Noob clung on him.

“W-w-wait!” Noob exclaimed, “T-t-that p-person I-I dropped!” wanting to break free of Shedletsky’s hold.

“Trust me kiddo.” Shedletsky replied aloofly.

The more the sprinted, the more Noob’s heartbeat raced – almost like they were to explode, a louder sound of ticking rung through their heads – a hallucination they presumed since Shedletsky seemed to be unaffected.

A loud earsplitting crack shattered behind the two – like an explosion if one must say, Noob collapsed on the floor gasping for air; Shedletsky – above them – seemed back to normal, without the uncanny pupils and strange aura that Noob noticed had disappeared.

“W-w-what was that a-about..!” Noob wheezed, gripping fearfully on their chest – closer to trying to strangle themselves from the ribcages.

“I…” Shedletsky quaver , “Saw a bomb, or more like a timer, on that other kid’s face.” His face looked like his head was spinning in a barrel down a fall.

“W-wha-at..” Noob spluttered, nothing to say to that.

“Didn’t you, or at least 007n7 see that!” Shedletsky questioned, the debris dust blowing in his eyes. “It was a clear strapped-on bomb!”

“N-no.” They choked. “No one c-c-could’ve seen a-anything… their face w-was censored.” staring fearfully at Shedletsky. “J-J-Jane c-confirmed it was a-a c-code…!”

“”What…!” Shedletsky gagged.

“H-h-how c-could’ve you s-seen anything…”

“...I don’t know..” The sentinel prevaricated, turning their backs at Noob.

“... O-o-okay.. I-I t-t-trust y-you…” Noob said, playing along with Shedletsky’s deceiving game. “But w-what h-h-happened to the other survivor…”

“Maybe ask when we get back to the cabin, kid.” He ignored, noticing 007n7 lurking in the distance.

After the round ended, each of the round’s surviving survivors spawned into the cabin sharply after it ended: Noob, 007n7 and Shedletsky. The survivors who didn’t go waited for the ones who went to return.

The other admins talking upstairs – Builderman and Dusekkar, Shedletsky – upon returning from the mess of a round – decided to join the who in whatever conversations they were in. The duo sat around one of the many tables upstairs; Shedletsky took one as well and invited himself in.

“Can I join?” Shedletsky quipped, sitting besides the other two admins.

“To your request, I give a yes.”

“Horray,” Shedletsky remarked, “So how was today, Builder?” leaning more slumped on his chair.

“Quite decent I say, once again.” Builder replied, whipping out his documents from his pockets magically. “But I did find something strange, I believed Chance was to join the round for today yet he didn’t.”

“How so?” Shedletsky moved a brow.

“Hang on.” Builderman waved off, scanning through his texts. “I made surveillance cameras not too long ago, and from my documentation, Chance was behaving suspiciously: a sudden pain, suddenly well then he headed to my Jane’s basement. If that wasn’t suspicious I’m not sure what is.”
“Woah, sure is strange.” Shedletsky commented. “But I’m sure the other survivors in the round with me were positive that there was a new survivor in the round. Heard Noob said your daughter said so.”

“Shush.” Builderman silenced. “We shouldn’t let the others potentially overhear it; but continue.”
“Dear companion Builderman, no one will eavesdrop on our sesquipedalian. Please be aware of how we share.” Dusekkar recalled.

“What does that even mean?” Shedletsky moved the subject.

“For I am disappointed that you could not have it retained.” Dusekkar scolded, more irefully moved.
“And that too.” Shedletsky provoked again, slanting his head on his arm as he watched the madness of his close friend unfold.

“Oh curse thou in hell,” Dusekkar damned loudly. “May you forever suffer with no shell!”

“I’m not hearing you two banter over absurdities; admins’ meeting cancelled for the day.” Builderman gave in; surrendering in Shedletsky’s eyes. “No absurdities on why Dusekkar’s so spiteful unsystematically!”

Once Builderman left the ‘room’ Dusekkar glided to Shedletsky when no one’s in sight, sliding back on the chair.

“Tell me close friend, what did you need for me to lose my stance?”

“I have some suspicions, I theorise that so-thought new survivor may have a connection to the Sword Fights On The Heights Sword.” Shedletsky abridged.

“Is that so?” Dusekkar hummed. “I wonder if you can say how that’s so.”

“I…” Shedletsky halted, struggling to find the perfect explanation.

“Telamon?” Dusekkar asked, “The face you’ve worn.” whispering at the last phrase. The pumpkin-face not letting an emotion sly off its head.

“Truthfully yes.” Shedletsky breathed, “I felt a bang of emotions moulding back up inside me the first I broke the curse of a concealed face of the new survivor, whom I’m assuming to be another victim to one of the unholy swords.”

“With falstaffian, you’re speaking in sesquipedalian.” Dusekkar chuckled, "Though please end with all earnest respect, friend.”

“‘Falstaffian’, and you can joke for once, amusing.” Shedletsky jested. “And as I said, it was one of the unholy swords, both divine yet accursed by nature – or most, and I suspect the survivor to have one of them.”

“Alluring.” Dusekkar remarked. “Do tell me more of how it is damaging.”

“Certainly.” Shedletsky smiled, cracking his knuckles and neck as he prepared himself for the ramble of his, and a, lifetime.

As the ice prince woke up, the pain of his death no longer blissed or agonised him though it still diverged all throughout him. Floating in an endless abyss of darkness and fluid void, he was nothing; a jumble of worthless sentient bricks made into a robloxian yet with no bounded purpose in existence: no joy, adrenaline, pain nor boredom – simply emptiness. A difficult concept to grasp, yes, but common amongst the non living.

As his subconsciousness wandered, swimming instinctively, the colder he felt; freezing like the arctic but tasteless and numb at its core. The deeper he wandered, the more unnerving it was – or with a pint of comedic joke, nerving.

There was one door in front of him, bloodied and gold veiled – no room for justice nor redemption. The fate he was meant to have, truly star-crossed by the Great 2x2 – for sure.

His fingers freezing beyond relief could hold and burning where the heat didn't reach, he’d make his choice. His choice, where if he was damned by fate; he’d do it himself, change the fate himself.

By not picking the door, when destiny left him; he’d leave the destiny that left him and make his own. Woah so much repetition.

With all his weak little strength, he shoved himself out of the infinite vacuum of fate and gravitating energy and back out of the room of unjust destiny. Back to nothingness, he’d rather die out than be a villain; no he’s not that selfish or heartless.

He’s just a normal guy, child, teen and person seen in the wrong light, but this time he’d make it right, right?

His subconsciousness dying out atlas, maybe this time… destiny gave him one more Chance.

As his eyes and body felt incapable of movement, a bright light flashed at him repetitively to no end till he looked to see what was flashing at him: too dark too see but enough to make it out to be a breathing robloxian. But being flared with a flashlight wasn’t great.

“Hello…? Are you alright?” The face of a pizza-boy shoved into his vision, generous and star-touched  – what misfortune, no fucking way.

Still unresponsive, the ice-crowned decided to try and get up by himself – unfortunately, he’d underestimated how weak he was – though fortunately the pizza-boy was willing to help, using his arm as assistance to help him pull upwards.

“Hey,” The pizza-boy said, “It might hurt a little to explain but you are unfortunately trapped here, this… hell.” and slowly took the other robloxian’s hands and guided him inside the large cabin. “You’ll be staying here for a while, make yourself comfortable, please.” He smiled and left to nowhere, another cabin but smaller.

Whilst being left to his own devices, someone approached him: a guest.

“Hello,” He started, “You must be… new here. I’m guest 1337, great to meet you.” Holding out a high-five, he presumed.

“Apologies,” Itrapped coughed, “I don’t feel like I’m in the best of state for physical movements, nor speech.” wrapping his arms around eachother.

“No worries, I can get you a blanket if you need.” Guest 1337 stayed warm, “I’ll introduce you to the others; normally it’s Elliot who does this but he’s probably busy right now.” guiding him inside the cabin.

Upon entering the Cabin, he was burned with the intense rays of indoor lights – though he acted unreactive – until he was left alone at the center of it by Guest, who had an urgency. Now surrounded by stairs, upstairs and multiple entrances.

Not wanting to experience an awkward experience of hell, Itrapped wandered off to the couch in front of him and took a seat to avoid some time. And funnily enough, got encountered by a crazed ‘spawnist’, never heard of it.

“The Great Spawn blessed me with resurrection; to live a second life. Only gifted for those with faith above no one other.” The ravenette rambled about their cult, “With the greatest of gifts comes the greatest of dedication, worship is the greatest action for the Great Spawn.” Gesturing with their dagger it’s like a fun game.

“Good for you.” Itrapped could only reply little to whatever they were on about.

“Would you like to join the Spawn, Ice Prince?” Their sombre eyes barging in their face, that felt more like an open oblivious threat than anything.

“No need,” Itrapped declined, “Shadows die twice; but all I need is one to experience everything I need.” which seems to have hit them hard. “Are you alright?” Itrapped asked, out of concern.

“Thank you for your worries but no need to care.” The cultist thanked.

“Life has lots of value, I’ve had lots of choices, memories and people. Even if you had two lives, without the people it’s not what completes it.” He illuminated. “Staying a shadow isn’t going to make it the best experience you can have, it’s staying sighted and independent.”

“Why thank you for the advice, Ice Prince.” The cultist spoke – somewhat more crazed; “What should I call you since you’ve got such a cordial nickname for me… two shades?” Itrapped chaffed.

“Surprisingly you are quite close, Ice Prince. I am called Two Time.” Two Time affirmed. “What did you originally think you’d be nicknamed?”

“A Fool.” Itrapped stated, a cold gale blasting through the door. “Once a fool, always a fool.”

“My condolences, care to tell me what happened, Ice Prince?” Two Time pitied, their posture finally not slouching.

“In my youth and till this age, I’ve made terrible choices.” Itrapped recounted. “Idiotic choices that had made me lose more than there is to count.”

“We all make mistakes, besides Great Spawn.”

“Not ones that end in you dying at the end.” Itrapped remarked. “Or is it just us?”

“I must say I have thoughts I am not ready to confront,” They sniffed the air, “Not that confrontation is not a sinful choice.” the skin in their arms peeled itself off.

“If your lord cares so much for you,” Itrapped asked. “Why must you be in eternal damnation when there are others so much more worthy and less… faithful.”

“I offer m–” Two Time responded before they were interjected.

“Hey Twoie, What are y…” Chance gasped, "..I-Itrapped?!" their voice cracked. Stepping backwards, almost tripping on their soles, before being frozen with crisp fear.
