Joofy had only been in the mines for a few days, but he was already so sick of it.
Back when he was in the overworld, in overworld mines, he would excited when he saw diamonds. But, now, he would rather do anything BUT look at them. So, he won't.
With almost two stacks of diamonds already collected, he decided to try and find Jackswano or Joll.
The openness and bland material of the mines would probably make one assume that it would be very easy to find a pale green frog, and Joofy knew for a fact that it would be, but today, he couldn't.
It was weird, but not that weird. The mines had some small off-shoots and places that Joofy couldn't see from where he was standing.
There was a specific spot that some of the miners used as a break area, since they weren't ever given official breaks. It was out of view from the guards and people usually only stayed there a few minutes or so before moving on so they wouldn't look too suspicious.
Joofy knew there was some sort of unspoken schedule that he wasn't privy to on account of him being a newbie, so he couldn't be entirely sure if Joll and/or Jackswano were there, but it wouldn't hurt to check. The worst thing that happens is that he ruins his unbuilt relationships with his fellow prisoners, and the best thing that happens is that he gets to meet up with two of his only friends.
What he didn't account for, though, when he walked the corner, was a secret third thing, where he did get to see both Joll and Jackswano, but they were a bit… busy. Instead of mining together, or quietly conversing, or literally anything else, they were just straight up making out.
Despite the fact that it was pretty obvious where Joll stopped and Jackswano began, they seemed to be trying to convince themselves otherwise. Joll was pressing Jackswano against a wall, with their hands wandering all over each other, and mouths and tongues moving against the other's.
It was certainly quite the performance. Not really one that Joofy wanted to be intruding on, though.
But, it was too late for him to turn back. It was either be suspiscious by turning back too quickly, or interrupt Joll and Jackswano.
Joofy mentally apologised and fully turned the corner. He looked anywhere else in hopes that they would just ignore. But, nothing ever goes right for Joofy.
As soon as he entered their line of sight, they spotted him.
"Joofy!? What're you doing here!?"
"We didn't think that anyone would come over here-"
"It's not what it looks like, promise! We were just- uh-"
"We were having a normal break before this, but we got, uh, a bit sidetracked…"
"It was Jackswano who started it-"
Joofy didn't care about their excuses. He was just as embarrassed as they seemed to be about the whole situation.
"Guys- it's fine, really! I'll just mine some diamonds real quick and be ony mway. You can just ignore and go back to it if you really want," Joofy said, interrupting Joll and Jackswano's overlapping chatter.
The latter two paused and looked at each other.
Jackswano shifted nervously, looking back at Joofy. "Well… you could… join us if you wanted?"
…
"What?"
Joofy suddenly felt very warm. Specifically in his face. Which was weird because it hadn't been all that hot during that mining session and his face was one of the places of his body that wasn't covered by the itchy jumpsuit he'd been forced to wear.
"Well, yeah, I mean if Joll is okay with it..?"
Joll seemed just as stunned as Joofy and it took him a moment to answer.
"Uh, yeah! Sure, why not?"
Joofy gulped. "Okay, then… How does with work with three people?"
Jackswano pondered the question for at least one second, but no more than two, and then started to approach Joofy.
"Maybe something like this..?" he muttered.
He gently grabbed Joofy's head and the two locked lips.
Joofy felt every thought of his wash away, with all his focus going to wherever he felt Jackswano on him. It was so warm wherever he touched, like a fire on a cold day, and Joofy wanted more of it.
His fuzzy brain registered Jackswano pressing his tongue against Joofy's lips, and he quickly parted them to let the sweet, foreign object into his mouth.
An infinity later, Jackswano pulled away, and a few seconds after, went back in for more.
Joofy was so caught up with him that he didn't even notice Joll come up behind Joofy. He only noticed him when he felt a pair of lips on his neck, peppering him with kisses and small bites that caused him to make quiet noises into Jackswano's mouth.
They continued like that for a while, and, eventually, Jackswano and Joll strayed away from his mouth and neck respectively long enough for him to actually open his eyes. Instead of being met with Jackswano's pretty face, he was met with Joll's.
Joll flashed a smile at him, but when Joofy tried to reciprocate, he was distracted by Jackswano on his neck.
Joll let out a cute chuckle before continuing where Jackswano left off. In his mouth.
