Chapter 1: The crash

Chapter Text

I sat in my bedroom. "I hate this". I muttered under my breath as I pack my clothes. The thought of leaving England and my girl friends to go to Australia was so horrible, that I haven't been able to sleep at all.

Few nights ago, my father came into my room and inform me he will be sending me and my brother to Australia to be in a elite private school, so I can learn to become a proper lady and learn how to dance like one and he can learn to become a real man.

I been pretty much homeschool my whole life, and when I finally learn how to be friends with girls other than the choir boys, life likes to make a surprise.

My younger brother storms into my room And yells something about how the plane is leaving in an hour. "Okay I get it Johnathan, just get out already!".

I shout back at my brother, half-brother actually.

My mother died shortly after giving birth to me and at the age of 5, my father had married another woman Lucy and she gave birth to Johnathan.

I stood up taking one last look in the mirror. I was wearing my new school uniform. A basic black blazer, with a black skirt, a blue shirt underneath and a black tie.

It remind me of the choir boys uniform.

I take an look around my room, on my desk there was an photo of me, simon and Jack. My childhood and best friends

Simon has always been kind and nice to me even if he can be quiet from times to times, the other boys bullies him often, it makes me sad.

I often defends him, Jack never says anything to the bullying, maybe he is scared it make him look weak in front of the other boys.

Jack can be demanding and rude most of the times but when it just me and Simon and him he shows us an side nobody else knows about him.

I take the photo inside my luggage, I sighed as I hear my brothers yelling downstairs, I yelled something back to him.

I know I shouldn't have shouted so harshly at him, but this boy knows no boundaries. he always does whatever he feels like, he reminds me of someone. Jack.

I go downstairs to take a quick bite, the kitchen smells of fresh made pancakes.

The only good thing about flying to Australia is how I be in the same flight as the Choir boys, so flying there won't be completely a nightmare.

"Goodmorning, darling". Lucy says as she kiss my forehead. I sits down at the table and begin to eat, my father sitting across from me.

We haven't exactly been on talking term since that night. I hate this. The silence was insufferable to bear.

I hated how that was my last conversation with my dad. I hated how stubborn he can be. I eat quickly, almost choking on my own food.

40 Minutes later.

I stood in front of the plane, Lucy hugging me tightly and giving me what feels like hundreds of kisses on my forehead. Johnathan stood beside me, staring at down at the ground.

It is his first time being away from his mom, I don't blame him, he never been a huge fan of being away from home. After all he was still a kid.

"I know you two not gonna be in the same school but still, look out for each other. I love you two so much, remmber that".

She said, small tears dripping down her chin, i never seen Lucy cry before, but the tears were short and Lucy left, after she was done hugging Johnathan. I see a tall blonde boy, standing there and looking as parents hugs their kids goodbye.

His icy blue eyes meets mine. I walk over to him. He smirks slightly as he notices me walking towards him.

"You look lonley all by yourself jack, I thought you might want some company"

He trieds his best not to smile, i couldn't help but smile myself. I had taken notices that Jack rarely ever smile anymore, nowadays it just smirk. I miss
that sweet smile of his.

"I suppose I wouldn't mind talking to you."

He reply.

I see Maurice running towards us or more towards jack. Maurice is a skinny boy with Brown hair, I always found him funny, he makes me feel safe other than Jack. Roger walking behind him. Maurice notices me and gives me a soft smile and I shoot him a smile back.

Maurice starts to talk about how excited he is to fly, while Jake just listens quietly, if he even was listening to him at all.

Roger stands beside me, he just stares at me, observing quietly. I ignore him. Me and Roger bearly ever talked to each other, unless Jack was the one to make the conversation .

But it okay I never really liked Roger, he had made it clear that he didn't like me either.

10 minutes past by.

We got on the plane, I sat next to the window, as my brother sat next to me.
Roger sat behind us with Bill. As I sees simon, he was sitting all alone. I felt bad for him, but I also didn't want to leave my brother alone, so I just stay where I am.

Jack was sitting with Maurice, Maurice was being awfully loud as always. After hours of flying, I started to get tried and almost fell asleep when suddenly, turbulence hits.

At first it was normal, but then reality hit me. The plane was going down, too fast. Everybody started screaming. I held my brother tight, tears falling down his face, he was trembling. I didn't let go of him, I couldn't.

Is this really how im gonna die?, is this really God's plans, the thought of dying made my heart sunk. I looked over at Jake, he had his eyes closed.

he was calm, too calm, but deep down I knew he was scared like the rest of us were. The last thing I remembered is hitting my head hard and darkness.
