There is really only one good choice of beads for this project and that is 15/0 Delica. Technically you could use any 15/0 seed beads, but I strongly recommend Delica because this pattern is very detailed and therefore works best with beads that are perfectly cylindrical and fit together very closely. Also technically you could use 11/0, but that would make your earrings end up pretty massive. You will also need beading thread (I recommend 6lb Fireline in Crystal), a needle, and the appropriate findings including thread guards, jump rings, and earring hooks. This design is executed in 2-drop brick stitch.
