The sisters were inseperable.
No doubt, That was a fact.
Anazareth made a vow to protect her sister from harm.
While walking on the street of the astral realm, Anazareth was talking about her complaints on humans. Lilith nod after nod in response to Anazareth complaints. Lilith's mind often drifted away from the conversation as other thoughts came into mind.
'Lili?' The witch snapped out of her thoughts and turned towards Ana. 'I can talk about something else if you like.' She thought she might bore her with her complaints on humans. Lilith felt guilty, she shakes her head in response.'No, no It's fine. I was just thinking about other things.'
'Like what?'
Lilith thought long and hard about this. But she didn't know how Ana would feel. 'You don't need me as the reason for your purpose.' Ana mind went blank for a second, to then response. 'What? where did that came from?' Lilith clasped both of Ana's hand 'Ana, I don't want to take this the wrong way. I am happy that you care. The reason why I thought of this, was…'
Lilith paused for a while thinking of what to say next. '…If one day If I got married or died. How will you feel? How will you live? what's the purpose now if I was gone.' Ana froze upon hearing those question, She didn't want to hear those. Ever. 'I-I don't… I don't know. I had no purpose ever since I found out I was created only to cause bloodshed.' Ana responsded to Lilith's question.
'When I was adopted by the same family as you. when you were taken by those humans. When I rescued you. I have found my purpose to live. To protect.' Ana Responded.
Silence hungover the two as they resumed the walk. They both reached their apartment and went to thier respective rooms. Ana wasn't tired but she closed the lights and laid on her bed. Thoughts were rushing and each thought passed by after the last.
'…If One day if I got married or died. How will you feel?'
Alone.
'How will you live?'
I won't.
'What's the purpose now if i was gone?'
… Ana didn't know how to answer that. She didn't realized she was crying. She got up from her bed and peek outside. She slowly walked out of her apartment.
Exael was busy as usual. Removing rust for his weapons, Setting up nice scent candles, Organizing his collection of books by topics. After he was done, He relaxed on the sofa, Letting out a deep exhale. He heard a knock on the door.
'Who is here at this hour?' Exael Got up from the sofa and walked towards the door. As soon as he opened the door, he saw Anazareth standing infront of him. 'Anazareth? What are you doing here at this hour-' Exael was cut off by Anazareth hugging him.
To be frank, He was taken aback by this gesture. He slowly hugged back. 'It can't be that bad.' He heard light sobs from Anazareth. ' Oh. It's THIS Bad.' Exael placed his hand on her shoulder and slowly pulled away from the hug and closely examine her.
'Did something happen?' Anazareth shaked her head. 'It's… n-nothing. Really.' 'If it's nothing then you wouldn't be here now would you?' Exael sighed and Invited Anazareth inside.
After letting her in, Exael sat next to her with a book in his hand. He put the book down and glanced at Anazareth. He didn't really know to comfort a woman, let alone anyone. But, He'll try though. 'Are you ready to tell me what happened now?' Anazareth nodded. 'Everything is created for a purpose, right?'
'True.'
'And without those purposes, Would that thing be useless?'
'Not entirely true.'
Exael asked. 'Why?'
'Since I found out I was created for bloodshed, I thought maybe i couldn't find love or family. But Lilith came into my life or I came into lilith's life. After I was rid of my old purpose, I found a new one.' Anazareth paused as her eyes wander to the ground. 'But then she asked me a Question.'
'What was the question?'
'What my purpose will be if Lilith was gone?'
Silence hungover the two. Exael didn't what to say. 'I think you shouldn't worry about that.' Exael thought about stopping, but he knew it wasn't enough to comfort Anazareth.
'I mean, what she stated was a question for the future. But I understand you. Everything has a purpose. And losing it will feel like hell, But even if you lose your purpose, You can still find a new on. It'll take time though. But I believe you'll find it.'
'But what if I don't?'
'If lilith was the replacement of your original purpose, then you won't have a problem finding another.'
'How long will it take?'
'Some were born with it, Others will find it later.'
'Do you have a purpose?'
Exael thought about it for a while. Exael wasn't created for anything bad or good. He was only tasked with something Bad. He just exist. 'Forget what I said.' Exael snapped from his thought as he heard Anazareth's voice.
'Look what I'm saying is; even if you have no purpose, It doesn't mean you are useless. Your purpose may define what you are known for. But the way you live is something entirely different.' Exael stated.
A soft smile appeared on Anazareth face, she hugged Exael. 'Thank you, Exael.'
'Are you going be okay now?' Anazareth Nodded. He watched as Anazareth went back to her apartment. He closed the door behind him and exhale deeply. He hoped that Anazareth will be fine after what happened.
He sat on the sofa and picked up his book to read. He suddenly recalled the question Anazareth asked.
'Do you have a purpose?' Exael looked at the ceiling as he thought about it.
'My purpose, hmm?' He flushed at the thought of Anazareth, letting out a slight chuckle. 'Maybe, but at the right time.'
