The story isnt based on reincarnation or transmigration. In fact, it's more of a 'double life' (or is it triple life?..)
Intkot and Tboah is in two different continents.
Tboah in the Eastern continent meanwhile the Empire and demon realm is in the western continent (I don't really know where it is actually.. I only know that Roan kingdom is in the East..)
Demons are also separated into two groups, one under the direct rule of the Demon king, while the other are exiled or failed creatures who went on to the other continent.
Magic, just like demons, are also divided into two groups. Although it was originally from the demon realm, humans found a way to use them, however it is still very different from the demons, and the people from the western continent CAN'T use magic.
them being in two different continents is also the reason why elves and beast tribes are seen as part of the demon realm.
The Thames is a duchy in the Empire who had a good relationship with the Hardt county.
That means that Cale is from both the western and eastern continent, and also manaless.
Cale was born as an albino but Jour had hid his identity to avoid unwanted attention. Almost no one knows of this, not even Deruth.
Jour would go back to the Empire multiple times while bringing Cale with her. There, they used a fake name, Jour used her original name, while Cale used a fake name, Deon.
One day, Jour had asked the count and countess of the Hardt county if they could take care of Cale which they agreed.
the count and countess knows of Deon being a weak child, but does not know of his actual identity as Cale. But they do know that he was born in the Roan kingdom (now empire).
Cale was close with them, especially with Cruel. Thay all accepted him as a son and younger brother despite their differences.
in the Empire, Deon is known to be the Hardt's youngest child by the public.
Jour died when Cale was 7. ever since then, his health has deteriorated little by little, and he had gotten farther from them, while also visiting less.
(the events in TBOAH happened 2 years early in this au)
every time he went to the Empire, a doll copy of him would replace him ( a gift from his mother, Jour).
he got into the war at 14 like normal. the doll only lasted till 16 after Choi Han beat it up though. So, he is now listed as 'missing'.
In this au the Tboah cast won in 6 years. (Cale is 22 )
the 8 year war went by normally.
(I don't actually know what age is Deon when the Intkot story starts so let's say 24)
the war between the demon realm and the Empire didn't exist cuz uhh.. yeah you can make some things up Ig..
