These were created for the BruDick Summer Exchange event for all the promo graphics.

How was this artwork created?

This artwork was created using free-for-use, licensed stock images. I used a photobashing technique, combining multiple images to build a complex initial collage. I then used that foundation to carefully modify, paint, and detail the scene. No AI was used at any stage in the production of this artwork.

Why do I use this technique?

I am still very new to digital art. Aside from doing still-life charcoal for about a year in school decades ago, I am completely self-taught. I wanted to see if I could use this technique to bring the artistic visions in my mind to light without exacerbating my carpal tunnel syndrome. I am still developing and refining a personal style that plays to my strengths while managing my physical frustrations.
