It was just a regular day in September. Leaves from cherry trees fell on the cobblestone walkways as Izuku Midoriya sat at a local bench. He wore a navy-blue sweater and some black sweatpants, and he held a share-sized chocolate chip cookie. Each bite he would take from it left a warm and fuzzy feeling in his stomach. (??🤨🤨)
As he chewed on the cookie, he looked up to observe his surroundings. He saw couples, dogs, young people and old people. He darted his eyes slowly until he saw a familiar face that would have his own lit up.
"Hey, Todoroki-kun!" Izuku called, waving his arm to catch Shoto's attention. Shoto looked up and saw Izuku. He wore a gray sweater, blue sweatpants, and had a red backpack. Shoto saw Izuku and waved back. "Oh, hey Midoriya." he said.
Izuku patted his hand on the empty space next to him on the bench. "Come sit here!" he said. "Ok." Shoto responded, with a small and slightly noticeable smile on his face as he sat next to Izuku.
Once Shoto had sat next to Izuku, he offered him a cookie that he had in his pocket. "Want one?" Izuku asked, hold his hand out with a chocolate chip cookie in it. "Sure." Shoto said, receiving the treat and eating it along with Izuku. "There's more where that came from!" Izuku said. Shoto slightly chuckled.
As the two ate their cookies, they discussed topics such as school, life, hobbies and other such things.
Cherry tree leaves slowly fell on their heads and all around them. The wind would slightly pick and grow to be colder over time during various points of the two's conversations. Shoto slowly scooched closer to Izuku as he would ramble on about random things, although Shoto would still listen. He loved to hear his voice, and he loved being with him. He just loved Izuku in general. Thinking of him would make him blush, just like now, though it was hardly noticeable.
After some time, Shoto told Izuku something. "Name one hero who was happy." he said. Izuku froze and started thinking. "Oh! Uhm...I-I don't...know." "That's right. You can't"
"Hm." Izuku mumbled. Shoto leaned in closer to Izuku. "Do you want to know a secret? (doo dah doo)" He whispered. "What is it?"
"Do you promise not to tell? (whoa whoaaa)"
"Uh, yeah!"
"I'll be the first." Shoto whispered. Izuku was completely oblivious. "That's great!"
"You'll be the reason why, though." Izuku looked slightly confused. "H-huh...?"
Shoto place his hand on Izuku's cheek and narrowed his eyelids. "I love you, Midoriya." Izuku blushed and his eyes widened. "I-..." He then proceeded to pause for a moment to think. "I...love you too, Todoroki."
The two smiled and leaned in slowly to share a kiss. After a while, they both had let go yet still sat close to eachother.
They then started to eat new chocolate chip cookies that came from the pocket of Izuku's sweater.
