Worthiness.
Honor.
Status.
They all come from the same thing. But what makes someone have all of these qualities? I am vanguard three. Third strongest. But, what makes me like that? I don't know why Mugm picked me to be his student. I was weak, pathetic, had to get help from…Finlo. But look where I am now! Vangaurd three…third strongest.
Although, despite my title. Do they really trust me? After everything, do they? I always hear Mugm and Rat talking about when and where to meet up. They talk about things, things that I’m not supposed to know. From what I’ve managed to hear, they often talk about some mysterious shopkeeper and gateways? I’m not sure what that’s all about. Anyway, that’s not the point. Why do they not trust me? Do they not think I’m good enough? What the hell would I have to do to prove it to them? Mugm knows me (Right?)! He knows that I’m worth at least something. He did, he trained me! He saw something in me he didn’t see in anyone else (right?).
I’m worth enough. They put me in charge of command blocks for crying out loud. They trusted me with EVERYTHING Stormz left behind, what he couldn’t do. He lost his honor and status when he died to Slushly. Slushly of all people, he was nothing when I left him. Merely someone who was trying to be a hero for foolish reasons. Heh, thinking about it now it’s ironic, that mindset it what got him killed by Recall, and the same thing that led him to loose to me.
Yet he won against Stormz. Mugm said to rank up, you would need to challenge the member with a higher rank than you. Slushly killed Stormz…what does that make me? Actually, what am I thinking? That makes me BETTER than STORMZ! Haha…yeah, yeah that makes me better than him doesn’t it. I beat the one that killed Stormz…Boomie take note lol. I got your revenge for you.
That makes sense now…I was able to beat Boomie because I was able to, basically kill Stormz. Ha. Funny how things align. I guess it was just mean to be in a way. Mugm chose me, I beat Stormz’s student even though he seemed so much better than me, I became third strongest! And I’m proud of myself for that! Proud of even being able to get here in the first place.
Need to go, finally got word back on EvPark’s whereabouts. Vanguard definitely has it’s perks.
