Chapter Text
Britain, 3rd of September, 2005
He kept to the shadows, back against the wall, his breaths quiet and even. She was in his sights, and he would not let her get away again.
He moves silently, his fingers gripping the handle of his knife, before he presses it against her throat.
‘You thought you could get away from me, pretty?’
She sucks in air, struggling to breathe, her chest rising and falling. ‘Why won’t you just leave me alone?’
Because you’re mine, he thinks. But he doesn’t share that thought. Instead, he remains silent, digging the knife deeper into her skin. A thin line of blood trickles down under her shirt. His can feel his eyes widen. This is what he was looking for.
He takes one last look into her terrified, beautiful eyes, before doing what he does best.
Capture his prey.
