Manny and Anton heard about the butterfly sanctuary, that was nearby there apartment. It was close, sounded cool nothing could go wrong! They both decided to walk there. Manny was wearing a cute white top with ruffled top. The shirt had some flower buttons sewn into it, he had a flower clip in his hair also. And blue flare jeans. Perfect for the event! Anton was wearing a simple T-shirt, he had his camera with him so he didn't want to wear something that could damage the screen. He wore his flower necklace, and some dark blue jeans.
"I'm super excited to see what butterfly species they have! I wonder how many are in there.." Manny spoke starting a conversation. "I don't know how many they'll have...but I bet all the butterflies will come running to you with all your flower stuff on.." Anton teased, a smile forming on his face. Manny chuckled "maybe!" Manny returning the smile.
They continued to walk until they saw it was a white building with many windows. You could see the life inside, the trees and a few pops of color from the butterflies. Anton opened the door for Manny. Both now inside they could see the paintings of butterflies, and some butterfly taxidermy. Upfront was a employee, you couldn't see the butterflies until you entered the sanctuary. "Hello there! How can I help you?" The employee asked as they both were both upfront. The employees was a deer, she had long hair, her hair was curled nicely and makeup was done. "Hello! Could we get 2 hours in the butterfly sanctuary?" Anton Answered. Manny wasn't the best at social cues or talking to people he didn't know. So Anton would do it for him, so he wouldn't be nervous and mess up on his words.
The employee smiled and nodded, "of course! That will be 25$ dollars for each!" She stated, "Ok!" Anton said as he pulled out his wallet, taking out his card and swiping it. The employee pulling out two wristbands, they were orange and had little butterflies designs on them. "Please put these wristbands on before you enter, and take them off whenever you exit! After you put them on you can enjoy!" She spoke sliding the wristbands to them on the counter. "Ok! Thank you!" Anton said as he grabbed the wristbands, Manny followed Anton as they moved away from the counter.
"Here you go! Make sure not to make it to tight" Anton gave Manny his wristband. "Thank you, and I won't don't worry" Manny replied taking the wristband and putting it around his wrist. He struggled for a moment but finally got it. "All ready?" Manny asked Anton, before holding in a giggle seeing Anton struggle with his wristband. "No not yet..im struggling it just won't budge!" Anton said as the clasp on the wristband wouldn't connect with the other one. "Here let me help you dear" Manny said as he moved closer, his hands gracing Anton's skin. Not even taking a minute Manny got it. "You did that so fast! I would've been there for who knows how long fiddling with it..." Anton spoke as they walked to the entering of the sanctuary. "I just have hands of magic I guess." Manny joked softly.
They both opened the door to the butterfly sanctuary. They both saw the gorgeous scenery, the flower bushes, the small fake pond that was in the sanctuary. The trees and more flowers, then the main attraction the butterflies. Many of them filled the place, some were on flowers some just fluttered their beauty around. Manny and Anton walked around observing all of the butterflies. They even had little signs filled with information based off the butterflies in the sanctuary.
While Manny was reading he felt something on his body, he looked down and it was a butterfly on his flower button. Anton looked over and saw the cute creature. "Oh see! I told you they would love you." Anton said as his tone happy, it was a perfect time for a picture! Anton turned on his camera. Manny then felt something small on his body again. It was another butterfly?...Anton looked back to see the two butterflies on Manny, his smile brighten. Then, another one landed right on Manny's snout. Manny made sure to be as still as he could, but still looking good for the photo.
Before Anton snapped the photo one more decided to gently put itself on Manny's head. Manny looked into the camera he smiled softly. Anton snapped the photo, a few to be exact. Manny looked so beautiful with the life around him. After the photo was taken the butterflies flew away. As if they were there just for that precious moment. Manny's antennas twitched as he watched the butterflies fly away.
"Thats a photo we have to hang up after I get it printed out." Anton said as got near Manny again. Anton had many photos of them and just Manny around the apartment. Most of them in adorable frames, "Yea! I hope I didn't look to awkward..." Manny said having a hint of worry in his voice. He wasn't good at smiling and he did smile in that photo. "Don't worry, you looked gorgeous..." Anton said his voice soft and sweet. Manny face flushed slightly. "Well if you say so, I'll believe you.." Manny said happily, losing some of his worry.
The two continued to explore to the sanctuary, just enjoying their time. Anton couldn't wait to get that beautiful photo physically soon...
