Kim Dokja was always an only child wasn’t he? After all, that’s what his name suggests.

Even after… well everything that happened he knew that he had a brother.

Or he used to.

His brother was only a few years younger than him but had disappeared when he was young.

He had remembered hearing his mother crying and only knew one thing, that he wouldn’t see him again.

At the time, Kim Dokja had wondered, what happened to him?

Where did he go?

Is he still alive?

Every time that Kim Dokja had tried to recall him, the fourth wall would start violently shaking.

It was like the last piece of the puzzle that had been locked away and the key tossed out.

You knew it was there but couldn’t get it out to complete it.

He had only remembered a part of his name it was Kim S■l■■■.

No matter how hard he tried to think that was all he could get.

After that, the years had passed and he was still all alone, TWSA had been his only savior, like a single strand of light in the darkness.

Everything from thick and thin he would think to himself “I am Yoo Joonghyuk“.

Eventually the scenarios had begun and he met Yoo Joonghyuk and all his companions.

That incident was almost long forgotten but from time to time he would remember him for just a split second.

Start of the Ghost Story

Kim Dokja and his companions had just finished a main scenario and they were exhausted.

For once, he hadn’t sacrificed himself which was extremely rare since he did every other time.

“Dokja-ssi, you really didn’t sacrifice yourself time?” Peered Yoo Sangah.

He felt quite sheepish considering that his companions now had the instinctive habit to ask that before and after each scenario.

This had already been what seemed like the a thousandth time and no one believed him anymore.

“I really didn’t I swear…” he mumbled.

“Really?” Scoffed Han Sooyoung.

“You say that every time!”

To be fair he really did say that every time, but he just couldn’t help it.

“What scenario is this?“ he thought.

It had looked different to any other scenario he had seen before.

Kim Dokja instinctively looked around at his companions, but it looked like none of them had gotten the scenario.

Finally, his head turned to Yoo Joonghyuk who was intently staring at the system screen, it looked like they were the only ones that got the scenario.

“Kim Dokja” Han Sooyoung drawled.

“What are you looking at?”

“Are you finally going to stop sacrificing yourself?” she teased.

He had snapped out of his daze and registered her words.

That was probably the one thing he couldn’t do, but he was more concerned about the sub scenario that he had just received.

It had said ‘Penalty for failure: No escape’ and most of the boxes had a question mark next to it, the only instruction was to leave the ghost story, which he didn’t know what it meant.

Just as he opened his mouth to speak “I got a scenar-“ his words got cut off.

Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk had suddenly disappeared.

Han Sooyoung was the first to react after a stunned silence.

“Everyone, the sunfish and squid are missing!”

“I think Dokja-ssi said that he got a scenario before his words were cut off.” Helpfully added Yoo Sangah.

After Kim Dokja had been teleported, he had been alert and looked around his surroundings.

It had seemed that he was at an abandoned train station?

He had just been staring at the scenario screen to see if there were any hidden conditions he had to do to get out of there, but too his luck, there wasn’t anything.

He had tried to find a way out but he didn’t know where to go.

“There wasn’t any scenario like this is TWSA”

A lot if not most of Kim Dokja’s knowledge came from TWSA and was the reason why he survived up until now.

But nothing like this had happened at all in the novel.

“Kim Dokja” a deep voice spoke from behind him.

He had almost jumped out of his skin before recognizing the voice a moment later.

It was Yoo Joonghyuk.
