Alex, how are you? I hope you’re having an incredible day’ his hand reached up in an awkward little wave. ‘Callan Potter, A.K.A Hayden Pike here.’
He paused. Two figures appeared behind him in the window, the dark haired man buzzing around the other. Their faces, angled toward the camera now, confirmed their identities, if there were any doubt. Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, grinning madly at each other. Hudson grabbed Connor by the waist and threw him into the most dramatic, rom-com esque dip kiss.
‘It’s so lovely to hear from you— and thank you, for your kind words about the show. I’m so glad you enjoyed it.’
Hudson had pulled Connor back up effortlessly and their mouths enthusiastically crashed into one another again. It could hardly be described as kissing — they looked as though they were trying to eat each other. They clung to one another, each practically wrestling for access to the other’s face, making such a spectacular show of it that it could not be mistaken for genuine romance.
‘And also — oh my god. Your art is awesome.’ He smiled. ‘I looked at the link you attached, it’s amazing. Truly. You’re so talented. I’m so honoured to be featured in your work.’
Hands seemed to be flying between them, Hudson smacking at Connor’s neck while Connor’s fingers made a mess of Hudson’s dark locks.
‘Thank you so much for supporting the show. I hope you enjoy season two, we had a lotta fun making it.’
The two faces separated, bodies still pressed together. Hudson rest his forehead on Connor’s shoulder, shaking with laughter, while Connor threw his head back, his mouth wide and eyes creased.
‘Lotsa love, from me to you,’ He blew an air kiss, ‘Mwah.’
The video cut off.
The original recipient of the video had posted it on TikTok, Twitter and Threads. Within an hour it was everywhere. Deuxmoi, E! News, People magazine had all reposted it.
