Before Rogue, Bobby had been his. Totally. Completely. It was only natural that they would come together. Fire and Ice. Hot and Cold. Personalities that matched their powers. Different but inseparable. Before Rogue.
Before Rogue, Bobby never minded John showing off. John would start a fire and Bobby would turn it to ice. John liked to shatter the ice afterward, just because he could. John got Bobby to show off a few times. Nothing spectacular, but John was sure Bobby was working up to it. Before Rogue.
Before Rogue, Bobby would let John push him against the wall. John would kiss Bobby, relishing the cool feeling as Bobby’s tongue moved over his. Bobby would tease John with icy touches until John thought he would lose his mind. John would make Bobby scream his name. Before Rogue.
With Rogue, it all changed. John could see why Bobby would like her. She was a nice girl. Pretty, as well. John liked her, too. He felt sorry for her, not being able to touch and all. Rogue could touch with gloves on, of course, but where was the fun in that? John craved skin to skin contact. He had it, too. Before Rogue.
