Okay, you all may be wondering what the heck is this?? Yes it's true, I am making a weird James Cameron's Titanic fanfiction about one of my favorite officers, Harold Lowe, but taking it to a more interesting side. This time, I want to practice more of the angst side of fanfics, aka whump fanfiction, and this is kind of exciting for me.
I am admittedly a huge fan of angst and reading them, as well as hurt and comfort fan fictions! And my mind went crazy and was like, why don't you do it around your favorite Titanic officer??? And that's what I exactly did and now I am prepared for the inevitable fire for Harold Lowe and his accomplices, aka his officer friends.
And you may be wondering...Why am I doing this? Well the more I've read about this guy, the more I wanted to try more whump oneshots of his POV on what he had been through a century ago. If you know about his role on the Titanic then you know what I am talking about. But it isn't just about his role on the Titanic, I also want the oneshots to be about him in general (his personal life involving his family, etc).
So basically, I don't want it to be a generic whump with prompts that I may use the first time but we all know them. I want it to be more quote unquote "educational" with this man and what was his life like, both before and during the sinking of Titanic.
And for that, I cannot wait to write it all!!

Now a HUGE HUGGGEEEE disclaimer: This is not to be disrespectful of the actual people in real life at that time. This is made solely for the purpose of entertainment and not meant to be a total reflection of the real life people who passed away in this terrible tragedy. Harold Lowe and the rest of the officers (as well as the "big three", which is Captain Smith, Thomas Andrews, And Bruce Ismay)) are fictionalized in this oneshot fanfic and I don't owe them. I'll maybe add a few original characters then and there, probably not.
