Since leaving Ishgard the first time, Gliommoux was never one to care for others, even when it would have been beneficial to him. His own family had taught him as such and he was determined to make it everyone else's problem to his (hopefully early) grave.
After leaving Ishgard the second time, he was even more determined to do so, albeit by staying as far away from others as he possibly could.
Considering his status as one of the Warriors of Light, it was frankly impressive how long he managed to avoid not just trouble but people as a whole, although taking up 'residence' in the Golmore Jungle certainly helped.
...Of course that meant when his solitude was broken, it was in true Warrior of Light fashion - by aiding a Garlean experiment break free of their (literal) chains and wrecking havoc on those that tried to stop them, obliterating the facility to ensure whatever abhorrent discoveries made within wouldn't reach the world without.
Feeling the adrenaline surging through his veins, watching the aether in the air around them to react to his Viera companions volatile attacks and respond in kind... Gliommoux would have cursed at the realisation that his had missed fighting alongside someone if he didn't have his fist ilms deep into the Garlean's resistance.
