Chapter Text
Aqua grinned at Kris, who was very carefully picking up the flower pot the purple flower was in. “Seth, Seth!” She spins around. “Let’s call them Seth?”
Kris smirked. “Oh, why not. Seth, sure. That works. Better than calling them ‘Purple’. Or ‘Violet.’”
Aqua tilts her head, “But those are colors? Why would we name Seth after a color?”
Kris sighed. “...oh, never mind. I guess you maybe wouldn’t have, huh?”
Aqua hopped around. “Wouldn’t have what, Kris? Wouldn’t have what?”
Kris shrugged, carefully holding Seth. “Anyway, where are we gonna put them?”
Aqua thought for a long moment as she walked along the sidewalk. “Hmm. Now I have to think harder thoughts. You’re mean, Krissy. Oh! We could put them with Tenna!”
Kris very clearly considered this for a moment. “Not a bad idea. Right by the window. They’d probably get along.”
The pair walked along the sidewalk, with Aqua occasionally commenting on something random, usually responded to by a short sentence or two from Kris, with, of course, an eye roll. After a walk, they arrived back home, and Kris placed Seth’s pot on the windowsill. They nodded. “Is that good enough, Aqua?”
Aqua spins happily. “yes, yes! Awesome!”
Seth glanced up around the room they’re in. They’re on a balcony of some sort, with light shining in from a gargantuan archway, with sheer cliffs going down. They felt… more alive then they did normally, like something in them had woken up. Kris and Aqua. They weren’t in Flower King anymore. I’m… I’m going to help them, as much as I can! They promised themself.
They gazed out the other way, and saw two things, overlayed on each other. If they focused, they could see one or the other.
One way, a large building- or, sets of buildings, spanning from many places, where at the farthest edge, they could faintly sense cold. They began to make their way dawn the cliffs, to the set pieces.
On the other, there was a living room, where Aqua had just ran out of the room, after Kris, upstairs, having said something Seth couldn’t catch. They smiled. They already liked it here.
