Summary: Scary Girl tries to change out of the grief of being the first one eliminated, but she thinks no one will ever believe she's actually changed, but is that really the case?? This is a multi-part series following Scary Girl's journey to change while staying at the loser motel after her elimination, and how things unfold as the other contestants arrive.
(Eliminations may not follow the canon storyline. Those who placed higher in the show might get eliminated earlier. The story will stick close to the canon setup, but it will diverge in its own direction. There might be tropes or plot points you dislike, you've been warned! If you choose to keep reading, don't blame me :))
They say being the first one eliminated is the hardest hit. Scary Girl became one of the people who took that blow.
Even though she tried to change after the season and observed the others to be normal like them, she was voted off first because everyone still viewed her through the same lens.
When Scary Girl landed at the resort where the losers stay for a while, her very first reaction was to cry.
Her tears fell to the ground.
"I tried to change, I tried to be better, I wanted them to see me as normal, but... all they did was eliminate me..." she said as her tears poured out.
"Why does no one see that I am trying to change?? Or that I am trying to be normal like them?? Why won't they accept me??"
Scary Girl wiped her tears with her hand.
"Why am I not accepted for who I am??" she asked herself.
She did not know the answer either.
She could not understand what she did wrong. She had watched and followed them just to be normal like everyone else. She took notes and tried to apply them, but... maybe even changing does not change anything.
"Nobody likes me... not even like this..."
After taking a deep breath to calm down, Scary Girl started walking toward the place she would stay at in the resort.
It was the same place as last season, but this time she was the very first person to arrive. She was going to be all alone until the next eliminated contestant showed up...
Scary Girl walked toward the kitchen.
When she reached the kitchen, she opened the fridge. There were ready made meals inside.
There were frozen pizzas, dumplings, noodles, ice cream, sodas, and many other things.
Scary Girl took the ice cream from the fridge, moved to the table, grabbed a spoon, and started eating her ice cream.
Mint flavored ice cream was Scary Girl's favorite.
During the first season, Caleb used to bring that ice cream to his former teammates, Raj and Wayne.
Wayne and Raj had to leave the competition because they were severely injured during the season.
Since they still needed to rest after the hospital, Caleb was bringing them the things they wanted.
Scary Girl once saw Wayne and Raj while secretly watching them.
They looked so happy while Caleb was feeding them ice cream.
Especially him.
Raj.
Ohhh Raj...
Scary Girl had tried to form her first friendship with him and Wayne, but she wanted to be friends with Raj the most.
Scary Girl remembered the times she watched him.
His sweet smile, his joy while using terms she did not understand, his romantic babbling when talking to Bowie... these were the things that made him cute.
When Scary Girl hid in the lockers for research purposes, she used to take his sweaty, scented shirts, smell them, and hold them tight to her chest.
Scary Girl was starting to understand Sierra, one of the favorite contestants, much better now.
Love really made a person crazy. It made one make huge mistakes that seemed right at the time.
Even though Scary Girl was sad that Raj voted for her, she knew the remaining two choices.
It was either her or his boyfriend Bowie.
The choice was clear. That was why she could not blame Raj, but she still wished he had given her a chance and voted for his boyfriend instead.
After Scary Girl finished her ice cream, she drank some water and went to the room she stayed in last season.
Her room was still the same. It was still at the same terrifying level. A room that reflected who she was last season.
Maybe it still reflected her, but she had changed... or at least she had tried to change.
Scary Girl decided to leave her room and check out the rooms of the others.
There were a few exercise tools in Caleb's room. On the walls were photos of good deeds he had done, such as saving a cat, baking a cake, planting flowers, and similar things. His bed was covered with a pink quilt and sheets. His room was nice, but Scary Girl felt it was too plain for her taste.
Axel's room was filled with many traps and weapons. Everything needed to hunt zombies was there. Her walls were military green. In the other corner of the room were a few zombie mannequins, and one of them looked a lot like Shawn, the Total Drama Pahkitew Island contestant who was obsessed with zombies. Even though Scary Girl liked the room, green was definitely not her color.
When she moved to Nichelle's room, everything was filled with things that were the exact opposite of her. Even her bed was luxurious. In her closet were various outfits from the movies she starred in, such as a flight attendant outfit and a hunter outfit. As Scary Girl examined the girl's room, she noticed a note on the desk. The note said "I Hate You Jerryy!!!" Who on earth was Jerry?? Was he her stunt double?? She had not been able to follow Nichelle much after the season, but she knew Jerry was actually her stunt double.
When she walked into Damien's room, she saw that it was quite ordinary and boring.
"How boring is the room of the guy I love scaring the most," she said before inspecting the room a bit.
On his desk, she saw photos he took with his friends.
Friends.
Why did she not have any friends??
Even though Scary Girl specifically voiced her intention to scare everyone, she was genuinely serious about wanting to make friends.
Scary Girl really wanted a friend who understood her and would love her no matter what.
If only she could be friends with someone who accepted her just as she was...
After leaving Damien's room, Scary Girl entered MK's room. Even though there was a sign saying not to enter, she ignored it since she was here alone. There were so many technological devices in MK's room. Even the phone where she recorded all the confessional footage was there. Scary Girl wanted to turn on the phone, but its battery was dead and she was in no mood to wait for it to charge.
After leaving MK's room, she entered Wayne's room. Wayne's room made a person feel like they were in an ice hockey rink. There was even a mini basketball hoop next to his bed. On the other side of the room were two hockey sticks and a air hockey table. The walls were blue and white, but the blue was more of a baby blue shade.
After leaving Wayne's room, she entered Raj's room. Raj's room was very nice. It was almost identical to Wayne's room, but Raj had some photos related to his boyfriend Bowie. Seeing them happy together made Scary Girl angry, and she squeezed one of the framed photos until the frame broke. When Scary Girl realized what she had done, she shoved the broken frame into a spot in the closet where no one could find it.
What had just happened?? Why did she do that?? Why was she jealous of him and why did she hate it??
Scary Girl lay down on Raj's bed and looked up.
There was nothing above her. The only thing present was sheer disappointment.
Scary Girl felt her eyes closing.
"I cannot sleep here... this is his room, not mine," she tried to convince herself not to fall asleep, but... her eyes closed, and Scary Girl fell asleep in Raj's bed.
"Good night Lauren... I'm so sorry for disappointing you, I hope you can forgive me one day..."
And everything went black.
Even though Scary Girl was the first one eliminated, she had things to figure out about herself. Would she be able to solve her problems during her stay at this resort??
She was going to find out... soon, because... the adventure had just begun.

Note: Hii!! This is going to be a series, or at least that is what I am planning to do. Initially it was not meant to be a series, but it suddenly turned into one. It will have multiple chapters. Most likely there will be some Scaryraj too. The eliminations will change a bit. As long as this damn keyboard types properly!! Note 2: I'm writing this note on July 15th, I have finally found the title and summary for the story!! After 4 days, I was finally able to decide on a title and summary!! I am dropping 8 of the summaries I wrote earlier right here for you:

"Summary 5: Scary Girl becomes the first eliminated contestant because people do not believe she has changed, despite her changing after the season. This story tells the events Scary Girl experiences after her first elimination."

I think I chose the best possible title, but coming up with the summary was exhausting. I considered writing Chapter 2, but I could not do anything because I had not settled on a summary and title. I do not know when I will continue Total Drama My Way because the exam results are coming out very soon and I am extremely nervous. I want to take a gap year again because this time it went even worse, but I do not know how I will manage. Those damn FanFiction.net haters stole my future!! May those miserable people be cursed!! Sending my worst wishes to you!! Rot in hell you horrible harassing life ruining scum!!
