What if we stayed?
Dancing under the moon and rain.
Would you have asked me to stay?
Or was it just another day?
Was this truly, another day?
No.
No, it wasn’t..
Not to me at least.
Not there under the moon and rain,
Soaked and cold,
Hands entwined as one.
This was not just another day.
This was different.
The pain you felt was real.
In your eyes I saw the sorrow,
Through the rain I smelt the salt.
I wanted to wipe them away.
Hold the world in my hands,
Just one last time.
I wanted to be selfish,
Even if it cost my life.
My angel,
If you knew what would befall,
