Korra’s joyous laughter.
The pleasurable exertion through the Spirit World fields. Catching with Korra. Playfully wrestling, shoving, grabbing… kissing. Kissing, kissing, kissing more and more passionately. Undressing.
Kissing.
Touching.
Korra’s lips, warm and soft. Her touch, gentle yet confident. Her taste… her sounds… the sensation of her tongue...
The pleasure.
Asami opened her eyes to a familiar ache in her bones, to the familiar empty other side of the bed, to the familiar dawn colouring the waters of Yue’s bay… to the familiar pang of disappointment and pain that Korra was no longer there.
No longer with her.
Taking her cane she walked to the window and tried to recall the last time she and Korra swam in those waters.
She couldn’t remember.
She closed her eyes and tried her best to summon the faint echo of Korra’s laughter from the dream.
