Hello, and welcome to my collection of vignette-style posts, where we'll explore different POVs, memories, reflections, and present-day moments with the many characters who are part of The Seventh Echo.
If you're new here, The Seventh Echo is a Reylo canon-divergent story that picks up after [Episode VIII] The Last Jedi. Instead of continuing her training with Leia, Rey returns to Ahch-To, searching for the answers she feels she's constantly being denied. Meanwhile, Kylo Ren hears the mysterious transmission sent in the voice of the late Emperor Palpatine - Darth Sidious - setting him on a journey that alters the path he'd believed was the right one.
These vignettes won't change the story, so you won't miss anything by skipping them, but they will add depth: offering insight into characters' thoughts and choices, along with extra lore, memories, and pieces of the story behind the story.
The posts are in no particular chronological order, and you'll meet (or be reacquainted with) characters from all eras and corners of the Star Wars universe.
This is a little vignette-style post, where we get to see young Ben Solo in the captains chair of the Millennium Falcon.
Han loves these moments. So does Leia. This is a core memory for them all, and an inside look at their lives before...
*originally written/shared on IG (elcieford) for May the 4th/Star Wars Day.This is all part of The Seventh Echo story, added into the Veyraverse series.
Writer's Note: I do not own the rights to any established characters featured here; only any original characters I may introduce. I do not profit from this story in any way. Fanfiction is a gift - let's keep it that way.

as a reminder, Always Come Home was written on May the 4th/Star Wars Day.
At the time I knew I wanted to write these posts to share to give added backstory or insights to our characters. I had no idea these vignettes would grow legs and become something more.
Buckle up, there's more to come.
And THANK YOU SO MUCH for joining me on this journey. I'm so grateful for you all.
Please know that your kudos and comments mean the world to me, and literally keep my story loving heart beating.
I can't wait to hear your thoughts.
xoxo elcie
