Work Text:
Logan was excited and upset all at the same time. Alex was coming to visit him and he was happy but also sad because Lily was supposed to come but a last minute event came up that she couldn’t miss. She was sad she was going to miss Logan, they hardly got the chance to see each other other anymore and this was supposed to be their week all together but Logan guesses Alex was better than no one. Logan wanted to pick Alex up at the airport but they figured it would be better for him to just get a car to Logan’s house. Logan’s been pacing since Alex texted that his plane landed and he was on his way to Logan. Logan heard a car pull up and before long the doorbell was ringing. Logan rushed to the door, flinging it open to see Alex on the other side. Logan pulled him into the house, door slamming shut behind him as Logan pulled Alex into a tight hug.
“Miss you. Logan mumbled into Alex’s shoulder, nose buried in Alex’s neck.
“Miss you too. Lily is so sorry she couldn’t make it. She’s going to find time to get to see you as soon as she can.” Alex squeezed Logan, tightening the hold he had on Logan’s waist.
“You smell like LIly.” Logan said, nose still buried in Alex’s neck. He could smell the faint scent of Lily clinging to ALex’s hoodie; the slightly sweet, slightly floral scent that he knows is the perfume the Lily wears just about everyday.
“I guess I do.” Alex hadn’t really noticed the scent lingering on him until Logan pointed it out.
“I miss her.” Smelling Lily without her actually being here was making him miss het worse. He was so excited for the three to be together again, stupid sponser events tearing them apart.
Alex pulled back just enough to take the hoodie off before helping Logan slip it on. It was warm from being on Alex and now he was surrounded by the scent of Lily. He couldn’t be happier. Logan guided them towards the couch, guiding Alex to lay down so he could lay across him. It didn’t take long for Logan to fall asleep, wrapped in Alex’s hoodies and arms and surrounded by Lily’s scent. It was all he wanted.
