The first time
Celestia had urgently called twilight over to the palace. Twilight walks in through the large doors, preparing for the worse when..
BUMP
Twilight looks up and makes eye contact with the guard she ran into, both surprised for only a second when he says.
"Her Highness! Princess, Twilight Sparkle!"
The second time
Twilight has had a long three moons with everything that has happened. Traveling to a different realm really isn’t for the weak, Twilight is just glad to finally be home with her friends. Walking through the hall with her friends, she’s finally at peace when-
BAM
Twilight looks up, and it's him.. His face is so handsome and his smile is endearing Flash reaches out his hoof and helps Twilight up “Heh, we really got to stop bumping into each other like this”
The third time
CLIP CLOP CLIP CLOP
Flash was doing his rounds walking the hallways when
*CRASH*
“Oof”
a grunt came from someone who wasn't him and-
“Ah! I'm so sorry, I was in a rush and…”
A pair of beautiful violet-purple eyes met his cornflower-blue eyes
“Apologies Princess” Sentry softly says Twilight is in a daze, but quickly snaps out of it.
“Oh, it was me who ran into you after all !.... again”
Flash takes the invite “Ha Ha, Didn't I say we had to stop running into each other like this?” He gives her a slight smirk and Twilight returns with a shy smile
Twilight is about to say something when..
“TWILIGHT!!” A loud voice came from the other end of the hall where Flash was coming from.
“IF WE DON’T GO NOW, WE WON'T SEE THE SHOW!! EVERYPONY IS WAITING”
“Oh!! Got to go Flash, I’ll see you around” Twilight says while rushing past him, her gorgeous mane rushing past him as she runs out
“She knows my name…” Flash silently says out loud.
Sentry continues his rounds around the palace, simultaneously while wondering if Twilight always smelled like sweet spring roses during the night.
The fourth time
After the fiasco of Flurry Hearts crystalling, Twilight was glowing (literally), and decided that she would take a walk, to just let her nerves settle after all that stress.
Twilight finds herself outside of a small cafe. “A milkshake does sound good” Twilight silently tells herself as she walks in.
Looking at the menu, her mouth waters at the sight of the oat milkshakes and slices of carrot cake.
“May I get extra oats, please!” Twilight says to the very nice, and very glowing pony behind the cafe.
“Of course, Sweetie” The older pony sets down the shake, and then continues to cut a slice of carrot cake for Twilight. Twilight uses her magic to pick them both up and turns around quickly to-
*CRASH*
The milkshake spills on the pony behind her, Twilight manages to save her cake but the sudden crash makes her magic halt for that split second.
“Oh my celestia!! I am SO sorry.. Please let me help you clean that up” Twilight very frantically says while setting down her cake and picking up on napkins Twilight hears a chuckle, a familiar one.. She raises her head to see Flash, without his armor this time, and he looks..
“It’s alright Princess, I shouldn't have been too close” Flash states while lowering his head
“Oh no, please, no formalities, we are outside the palace”
Twilight very quickly adds “You may just call me Twilight”
“Well then”
Something changes in Sentrys voice, He’s more laid back
“May I get you another Milkshake? Twilight”
“Why yes you may, Flash Sentry” Twilight responds back, giving the same, laid back and cool demeanor that Flash gave her.
The fifth time
Twilight has been going to the Crystal Palace every other week since Flurry Heart has been born. It has been nice, and gives Twilight a way to relax from her royal duties in Ponyville.
Twilight seeing her brother and old sitter falling in love, and creating their own family has been a gift that Twilight adores. Her mind starts to wonder as she walks the halls, ‘I wonder if-’.
*CRASH*
A hoof catches her before she falls this time “Huh” Twilight looks up and meets the cornflower blue eyes of a certain castle guard
“It is nice to see you again Princess Twilight” Flash comments while helping Twilight stabilize herself. He does a short bow and then raises himself to look Twilight in the eyes.
“Heh…It is nice to see you also!” Twilight responds in a slightly awkward manner after losing her train of thought.
“Are you okay? You seemed to be lost in your thoughts” Flash asks her in a non formal way, making Twilight feel comfortable
“Uh-Ya-Yes!” Twilight responds a little less awkwardly again “I was just thinking of.. Princess.. Uh, stuff”
“Right..” Flash clears his throat, His sudden awkwardness making Twilight feel as she did something wrong
“Well, um.. There’s this new Cafe that just opened on the other side of town, and I was wondering if you would like to go… together, obviously..” Twilight looks lost on his eyes, she can't speak, she- “Or we don't have to go.. Thats fine also” Flash quickly states after the long silence Twilight realizes that she said probably say something
“YES” she accidentally responds a little loud Flash sets back in the sudden yell and his eyes widen Twilight clears her throat and responds in a more clear and calm way
“I mean, Yes, it would be nice to go with you.. To the cafe” She lets out a shy laugh and pairs it with a nice smile Flash shines his own wide smile back “I will see you outside the castle at 5 then.” he responds, very confidently this time “I’ll let you get back to your ‘Princess..stuff’ ” He says with a laugh while walking away to finish his rounds
The time they met on purpose.
In front of the castle, Twilight was waiting on Flash to be relieved of his duties for the day
Twilight was nervous, or was she more excited..? Well she can’t tell herself! This is the first time anypony had ever asked her out What if he doesn’t like her? Or maybe.. She’s lost in thought when..
“Twilight!” Flash calls her while walking towards her Twilight suddenly remembers how much she likes seeing him without his armor
“Were you thinking of ‘Princess stuff’ again?” Flash gives her a sly smirk with a chuckle
Twilight gives her own chuckle back, and responds calmly “Just thinking of the delicious milkshakes were going to have”
“Well then.. Shall we fly?” Flash excitedly says with a loving smile
“Sure, let's fly.!” Twilights nerves are calm in his presence, She’s sure that everything will be okay, and, if he didn’t like her, he wouldn’t have asked. She is excited
