Chapter Text
If you asked what kind of life Castiel Novak grew up in, he’d say a good one. He grew up with religious parents, who’d always take him to church and sometimes Sunday school.
His parents were perfectionists. They’d make sure he or his siblings never made a fool of themselves.
The young boy knew what things were right and which were wrong. He’d never get them confused.
That was until a particular boy crashed into his life.
Dean Winchester.
Leather jackets, bootcut jeans, and a face that you’d never forget.
Dean was the type of guy that your parents warned you to stay away from. He’d pull you into his trouble, take you out to places you only ever heard of. Tell you it was okay even though in the back of your head that voice told you it wasn’t.
He’d never force you to do anything, no, that was against his rules. He’d just have you take a step into rebellion, have a taste to see if you liked it or not.
Cas was a person that took that step because of Dean. If you ever asked him if he regretted he’d tell you no.
