"Serizawa!" his boss finally shouted, "Would you stop that?!" the exasperation was clear in his voice. He'd (apparently) been jiggling his knee for the past 15 minutes. Serizawa's body immediately straightened up, his eyes widening in realization. "I'm so sorry, sir! I'll stop right away!" He made himself as stiff as a board, now not even moving a centimeter to breathe. The reddish-blond man rolled his eyes. "You can breathe, y'know?" he chuckled lightly. The Deputy Director attempted to do the same. "I'm sorry, it's just…" He sighed heavily, "this assignment I have to do is complicated." he murmured, hunching his body over the thick textbooks. Reigen quirked a brow at his fellow employee.

"When's it due?"

"On the twentieth, sir."

His jaw dropped. "It's the first!" his brain and mouth exclaimed at the same time. Serizawa scratched the back of his head. "I know… but I want to be prepared. This test will count as forty percent as my grade." He tapped the pencil against his mouth, before writing something down on the piece of paper. There was scattered highlighters next to him, followed by different colored binders filled with quick handwriting. Reigen didn't even have time to jokingly reprimand him for his rather extreme usage of professionalism. "Why don't ya just—" he shut the textbook, sliding it away from his perplexed worker, "put that baby away and come with me?"

Serizawa looked up at him. "Oh, we have another exorcism?" he questioned, standing up. The aura around him began to change. "No, no, no," Reigen tutted, "I'm gonna take you to the bar." The black-haired man blinked at him. "Oh, come on! Let's go chill for a while, hang loose, have some fun!" He poked him playfully with every word. "Think of it as a paid break; drinks on me." his hand flapped in a peculiar motion afterward pointing his thumb at himself. Serizawa's tight frown broke into a surprised smile. "O-oh, sir! You don't have to do that!" he waved his hands defensively. Reigen shook his head. "Stop with the 'sir' stuff, would ya?" he laughed, "and don't apologize." Serizawa lowered his head like a scolded dog; the word 'sorry' came instinctively to him.

"Let's go." Reigen said as he tucked his gray suit in the right places, adjusting his coat.

But what about my school supplies? Serizawa worried, deciding not to question his unusual boss on his usual antics.
