He looked around at the slowly burning fires, his eyes glazed over as he stared into the chronosphere. “Where is she?” his mind burned with only one question, “Why? Why her? Why his best friend? Why his sister? Why Mr.Strickler? Why Numora? Why everyone I care about?” A warm small hand grabbed his large calloused one, “Well almost everyone”
“You know what it means don’t you?” Claire asked, using her hand to tilt his face to hers. “Troll Hunter make ninth configuration, chronosphere make right” He nodded slightly and with her help stood up.
“Blinkey you said this could see the future right?” The troll nodded in response. “Then what if,” Jim grabbed the sword and used the sharpened tip to pry the sphere open. All six of Blinkey’s eyes widened and the pupils shrunk slightly.
“Master Jim no, even if that worked, time is a tricky thing, you can’t risk it.” Blinkey spoke, reaching one arm out to Jim.
“What is he talking about?” Douxie questioned, Krel helping to support the injured wizard.
“If my theory is right, I can turn back time, I can save everyone.” Jim waited holding the green glowing gem in his palm.
“Master Jim, everyone else but you will forget this timeline. But if you’re sure you want to go down this path I support you.” Blinkey spoke, placing a hand on his shoulder. “But before you reset the timeline, I must tell you, I have watched you grow into a strong and confident young man, I’m proud of you, son.” Blinkey hesitated on the last word as if wondering if it was the right word to use. Jim’s eyes water and he hugged Blinkey tight and Blinkey hugged back. After he let go he turned to see Claire and she grabbed his hand.
“If it is meant to be, the fates will bring us all together again,” Aja spoke her voice loud and proud as if she was speaking to everyone she ever met. “And looking around, I can tell our story with each other isn’t over.” She nodded towards Jim.
“Jim,” Claire took both of his hands in hers, “I love you and I always will, never give up on us, not once. You hear me James Lake Jr?” Towards the end her eyes began to water.
“I love you too Claire,” Jim punctuated his sentence with a kiss pressed to her mouth.
“I can’t wait to fall in love with you again!” Jim heard Krel exclaim and Douxie chuckle. As he put the chronosphere stone into his sword. The world turned green as it faded to black.

Your world began to glow a soft warm green as a jumble of voices spoke,
“Y/N Lake”
“Arise Troll Hunter”
