general overview of the kingdoms
The land of card has four major kingdoms Hearts, Clubs, Diamond and Spade.These four kingdoms unlike others who has only two has three rulers. they are king, Queen, and Jack. each kingdom known for different thing.
Kingdom of clubs is known for it's icy mountains, large landmass, exotic culture, military power, alcoholic beverage, architectural works, spas etc. and it's main source of income is exporting industry. and it's main exports are energy (oil and petroleum products, gas, coal). although clubs is known for it's icy mountains there is not all there is to it also has warm places. it has quite a tourist industry, not as large as other major kingdom but enormous compare to others smaller ones.
Kingdom of diamond is the wealthy kingdom in card. known for it's luxury, largest tourist industry, beautiful and historical buildings, exotic food, faction, chocolate, beaches, in winter skiing. although tourism industry is a major component of the economy, but not the main source of income for diamond. The most important trade goods, both for export and import, are precision tools, jewelry, textiles, chocolate, leather, silk etc.
Kingdom of spade is known for it's fast growing technology development, education system, vehicles, watches, gambling, historical architectural works etc. spade has one of the oldest civilization in the world still standing, it's architectural works both modern and historical are sight to see. spade is the most technological advanced kingdom of them all. it is the card's most dominant economic and military power. spade has second largest tourism industry. and after clubs it also has the second larges land mass. it's main source of incomes are trade Machine, electrical engineering and metals industry, Real Estate, Renting, Wholesale Trade etc.
Kingdom of hearts is known Art and architecture, is home to some of the most famous structures in the world, hearts has over 300 varieties of bread, known for having great beer, samurai, ninja, Temples, sakura(cherry blossom) tree only found in here, pasta, pizza, sweets and traditional arts etc. it is the second most technological developed kingdom. it has third largest tourism industry it's main source of incomes are export and import machinery, iron and steel, clothing, footwear, food processing, textiles, agricultural products etc.
general overview of the royals
Usually King is chosen from bloodline from the the former king. but unlike other ordinary kingdoms, in the in cards( as in four kingdoms) anyone can be chosen as king from the royal bloodline. The magic of the kingdom does the choosing, the symbol of the king appears in chosen person's body. after becoming the the king (it does not matter if the person is a male or female) the person will be granted superhuman ability. the next king was always for what the kingdom needed most at that time. (ex. charisma, intelligence etc.). although that is mostly true but it's not the full truth. every kingdom differs with this, like say the kingdom of diamond prefer charismatic ruler over strategic and strict ruler and kingdom of hearts prefer the opposite. but that does not meant expectation are not made. although being charismatic can be a strategy. choosing of the king is very complicated. scholars are still trying to fully understand the process. Although some progress are made they are not even close to finding it. Magic is a complex thing, that no one can fully understand.(Not for lack of trying though) as the magic of the kingdom chooses every generation of monarch. As previously mentioned that monarch always chosen as needed the most that time or in the Future. In most cases the responsibility of the king is basically ruining the kingdom, looking after needs of the citizens. (the notable exception is in this case is kingdom of hearts. The king there dose not run the kingdom, he is in charge of the military which is not the responsibility of the king.)
Queen is chosen from bloodline of a Nobel blood. like the king it can be anyone (gender does not matter), only condition is the person has to be from that particular kingdom. for example a noble line from clubs can never produce a queen of spade, but there is a possibility of producing a queen of clubs. like the king, the magic of the kingdom does the choosing in a similar process. more often then not the the power granted to the queen kept secret. but one one thing is sure whatever the power is it's exceptionally powerful. as far as requirement goes chosen person has to have some previous skill that was granted tho them. it dose not matter the chosen person was previously aware of the skill or not. the granted ability is always magical in nature. (as a side note: a queen always, I mean Always has to have a criminal record. It is not a requirement but it always has been the case, also the crime record was Before the assignment as a queen. [ex: many of the previous queen of Hearts were assassins (ninja). Spades has a particular affinity tourds choosing pirates as queens] and yes even the queen of diamond has one, They all do but usually the queens of diamond always better at hiding). The responsibility of the queen is taking care of the military and defense.(notable exception is hearts, their queen is responsible for trading and foreign affairs).r
Unlike the previous royals anyone can be chosen as Jack. although jack is more often then not from common blood they are still consider to be royalty, scholars think to be chosen as jack one have to be most wisest and smartest in the whole kingdom, like all the other choosing but no one can be fully sure. years ago scholars use to think chosen person has to be top student in the 'university of cards' (which is located in a island between diamond and spade, it is the oldest university out there, and it is rumor to established by the jokers themselves ') And has to be picked up as a apprentice by the previous Jack, but that simply is not true. it's true many jack are, but that is not the requirement. like all other loyalty symbol of jack does not appear on the chosen person. the previous jack choose the next chosen person. the symbol always appear after the first royals are chosen. when the scholars asked the previous jacks 'why that particular person is chosen as the next jack' the answer is always something along the line of " I just know" "or I had a feeling". So because of that the scholars determent that the kingdom's magic is behind choosing the candidate, but through the previous jack not directly as with other royals. The responsibility of the Jack is military and foreign affairs. (notable exceptions are: Jack of hearts and Jack of spade, Jack of heart is responsible for running the kingdom. And Jacks of spades [as in all generations of Jack of spade] is not really a exception but they also have more responsibility then any other Jack. From the time of first Jack of spade the the education system always has been and will be the responsibility of the Jack of spade. Therefore making them exception).
Every kingdoms royal has there very own enchanted weapon. this particular information will be reviled later.
The story starts at kingdom of spades, so a introduction is in order
The 146th king of spade is Alexander N. Jones
status- 'alive'
Age 49
Looks-He has dark brown eyes and Sandy blond hair that goes to his chin. Has a scar right under his eye. (his first battle scar that he got after falling from a horse at age of 9, but he will tell everyone he got it form epic battle. (nobody believes him, but will not say it on his face))
Personality - his Personality is very strict and controlling. Once upon a time he was softhearted and kind person but after his wife's death he became cold and shut everyone out, including his nine year old son. he has been king for 12 years after his fathers death. He was known as the hawk-eye because of aim that never failed to kill the target and for his love for travel. On one of his travel he met Rosaline and fell in love with her.
The 146th queen Rosaline Jasmine Jones nee- Thorn.
Status- 'dead',
Age (at the time of death)- 37,
Looks- Blue eyes and black hair that goes to her mild back, fair skin, she usually put it in a high ponytail, had glasses, has a particular dislike for formal clothing. .
Personality- her personality has been bubbly, kindhearted, optimistic and Adventurous person. She was known for her cooking and sword mastery and her inventions on hardware technology. she known as the mistress of sky* because of her aerospace based technology. She died of poison from a assassination attempt, but not without talking the assassin down with her. she was once in generation genius, had a wild personality.
The current crown prince of spade is Alfred F. Jones ( who also is the child of the previous royalty. child of the previous royalties to chosen occurs very very rarely.)
Status- 'alive'.
Age-19
Looks-he has sandy blond hair which goes to his ear. his height is 177 cm (5'9.6") has fair skin, blue eyes, has glasses and a cowlick that never goes down (no matter what he dose or how many time he brush his hair )
Personality- his personality is bubbly, adventurous, optimistic, kindhearted,(bullheaded) and has a love for technology, superheroes and hamburgers. He had inherited his mother's personality and father's looks except the eyes. unlike his mother his mastery lies in guns, although he still could fight decently with a sword. His hobby is making new inventions. And from his father he got his love for traveling. He visited all four kingdoms of cards and countless other smaller nations. He has a knack for making friends with anything and everything. He might not look like it but under that bubbly personality he can be very cunning when needed to be. no matter how stupid he acts sometimes he graduated from the university of spade in aerospace science and engineering major, with top marks.
146th Jack (amazingly enough) is Jack soil

Age -59
Looks- dark brown hair and light hazel brown eyes. average height.
his personality is serious and had ability to make a creative solutions on the spot, not much is known about his past. Except one day previous Jack suddenly decided to take him as an apprentice.
who are the Jokers?
Jokers are very mysterious figures, nothing much is known about them. It is not even sure If they are alive or dead. If not for them for popping in and out through various wars, they would have been called myth. The rumors said the they exist from the beginning of time and they would exist till the end. And they are said to be the keeper of balance, and they existed forever and never, like everywhere and nowhere. it's very mysterious that scholars are still trying to figure it out. it is thought they are the guardians of the cards. from the record on the four kingdom there was two Joker popped up through the history. although mostly they did not interfere with human matter, but when they did it impacts greatly on his history of cards. it was thought they can make or brake a country. they mostly appear on the major country's. they are two known jokers in the existence.
Joker 1-is said to take the appearance of of a fully adult male albino with red eyes. he said to have preferring the name Gilbert. he was known to be popping up most during the wars and unstable environment (civil war, desperation, economic collapse etc.). His personality is unknown but most said he like to play pranks and games, bloody pranks and games. He is said have been responsible for the start of some of the most bloodiest wars, and likewise end of some. but what is known that he mostly interact with royals, and known to warn sometimes when situation going to be especially dire. he is consider to be omen of bad luck.
Joker 2-he is said to be appearance of a five year old child with blonde hair and blue eyes. And he said to have preferring the name Peter. nothing else is known about him because of his preference to pop up during the peace. So people often mistaken him from a real child. his existence is only known because because of his appearance in various eras, and Gilbert's confirmation on it. and he cannot be found unless he wants be. and he very much acts like a child, according to Gilbert he loves sweets, can be seen eating lollipop sometimes.

*mistress of sky - well she's America's mother and consider I based Alfred's personality on her she has to represent freedom someway, so I made her that. Because really what's more free then sky it self. (time maybe?)

added more plot and fixed some major mistakes.
as you can see this is mixture of modern and steampunk and historical mix. like in this universe there are cars, and there are quite common but horses are are still in use because of sentimental reason and lack of proper road then anything. like we have TV and Netflix but we still have movie theater.
