Stormz is technically from the fire nation but his strongest bending has always been waterbending. Not that it particularly matters, it doesn't when he's expected to master all of them.
From the moment he started bending, he was crowned the Avatar. At first it was a blessing, Stormz was showered in gifts and affection by his parents and even the Firelord. After-all, he had broken the typical Avatar cycle for the first time in history.
That's certainly an accomplishment.
But slowly, as he grew older and his bending growth stagnated (especially for his own native element), people started questioning him.
They started telling him what to do—giving him their two cents and entire gold salaries telling him what he's doing wrong. How he should be doing his job and bringing balance to the world. So he decided to do what he wanted instead; he left the Fire Nation for Republic City.
It was partially so that he'd meet less fire-benders, less people who are more talented than him at an element he's supposed to be a 'natural' at. Somehow, the most recent avatar—Aang—was a natural at his native plus secondary element. But that's not... that's not Stormz.
Instead, he ran off to Republic City, the city of innovation, modernism, and crime. Stormz found himself drawn—not towards politics or keeping balance; but to Pro-bending. It was only his 6th night in a row watching matches when he decided he needed to become a player.
He eventually signed up... as an Earthbender.

—I'm relatively new to Bliss Lore & Bliss SMP in general (Started watching in Late August 2025)
—I main Mugm (I still sometimes watch Torchblossom, Wyll, and SOS streams)
—Update (12/22/2025): I meant the Stormz stream in October, after Stormz gives Mugm his mace & Quakitus gets the book from the prophet. Where they're farming carrots on the mushroom island, Stormz messages Mugm, they finish the Prophet trial 1, and they fight at the mesa base.

This FF is set in the Avatar the Last Airbender/Legend of Korra Universe, if you guys don't know it I'll try to provide more context but seriously watch ATLA it's so peak.
—A lot of Korra-era stuff may be wrong (sorry guys), I'm getting it from my brain that's read a couple LOK/ATLA FFs and the fandom wiki
—I do know of some of the general spirit world stuff though, especially with spirits from ATLA so expect that
—The state of the world is similar to how it is at the start of LOK, Stormz is basically Korra except with a couple key differences I'm sure some of you have already picked up on (don't worry if you haven't, I'll explain it later)
—Will be swapping POVs, but it's all in 3rd person because I kinda hate writing first/second person ffs
—A very slow burn; I'm projecting a minimum of 30-40 chapters
—BTW all of my future authors notes are going to be in bold, for new readers!
