Work Text:
When Brenda tells him to move out, Billy can't believe what he's hearing.
He wishes it was a joke.
A bad dream.
But...
But it's real.
Cold, hard, unforgiving reality.
In the past, he would have fought with her.
Stood his ground.
Pleaded to stay.
Right now, though, he's just exhausted.
Worn out.
He's got a backup plan, though.
Staying with his mother, Margaret provided she's not there or with her lover, Olivier.
With that, Billy heads off to the address, ready to see if he's going to get some peace and sleep or noise while dragging his suitcases with him.
And he only hopes someone else will help Brenda.
Because it's not going to be him.
Not now.
Not ever again.
