Chapter Text

A group of scientists, accompanied by a squad of Armed Mercs, travel underground. The path is filled with ancient rubble and a stone walk way. Eventually, they come upon a large stone slab. On it, was ancient writing and images.

"Oh, I have see this!" One of the scientists yells as he runs ahead.

"Slow down Blonsky!" One of the soldiers yelled.

The scientist didn't stop, then the pathway started to collapse. Before Blonsky fell, the soldier rushed up and grabbed Blonsky, saving his life.

"Let's try to work on listening next time, copy?"

Blonsky slowly nodded.

"Sorry, Captain Banner."

Bruce nodded and set Blonsky down gently. After making sure the rest of the pathway was clear, they made their way to the large stone slab.

"I knew it!" Blonsky shouts excitedly.

"What?" Banner asked

"This is the proof that I've been searching for!"

One of the scientists let's out a cough.

"Sorry, that we've been searching for. This prooves what we've been theorizing our entire careers!"

"What, about the giants you keep going on about?"

"Yes!" Blonsky said excitedly. "This slab details their history!"

"No offense Emil, but how do you know this isn't just made up? I mean, anyone could just write anything they wanted to on a stone slab. That doesn't prove there really Giants, or Titans, or whatever you want to call them."

"It might not prove that the Titans existed," One of the other scientists chimed in, "but it proves that there were people here in the Americas that worship them."

"And-," Blonsky cut in, "-according to this slab, there's a burial chamber up ahead!"

"Why didn't you lead with that?" Banner said. "Let's go!"

The group made their way deeper into the tunnel, then they entered the burial chamber. It was enormous, a vast cavern filled with bones. Not human bones, but massive bones of the Titans. Bones that stretched high and low into the chamber.

Some Skeletons looked vaguely humanoid, others looked more monstrous. Some bones looked like the kind you'd see in a museum. Fossilized Calcium that had long ago been put on display. Others looked to be made out of crystal, and one looked and smelled like it was made of Sulfur.

All of the skeletons looked as if they were gathered around each other, and embracing each other. As if, in their final moments, they held each other. With the later built chamber set in the center of it. As if they too were apart of the final embrace.

Everyone in the group was too stunned to speak. Some part of Banner felt that they had intruded in on a sacred and intimate moment, yet another part felt that he was welcomed here. No, not just welcomed, but like he was apart of this final embrace. Like he had always been here.

His eyes were drawn to a particular skeleton, one that loomed above the rest, and as far as he could tell, was the largest of these Titans. Distantly, he was aware that everyone else in the group were drawn to a particular skeleton. There were just enough skeletons for everyone in the group to stare at. Like each Skeleton was calling to them.

Know... My... Rage...

The words filled Banner. The skeleton had spoken to him. He didn't know if everyone else had heard, or if their skeletons had spoken something unique to them, but Banner was too enamored to recognize. He approached the skeleton, and everyone else approached their own.

Know... My... Rage...

The skeletons began to move. Their hands drooped down, and they gently lifted each of their humans closer to their face.

Know... My... Rage...

Then, they became one.

"I'm here at the Nevada cite now, where a Magnam 4 Earthquake was recorded. No one knows what caused the Earthquake, leading a survey team to-" The reporter is cut off as another massive earthquake is set off.

The ground up ahead shatters and caves in. The news crew and the servey team panic and run. Luckily, they escape without injury, and managed to capture what happens next on the camera.

A giant lanky arm rises from the sinkhole, and grabs ahold on the desert ground. The creature lifts itself out of the hole, and is immediately followed by several other large creatures.

The creatures come in many shapes and sizes, but the largest was a little over 100 Meters. It had green skin, that was occasionally ripped to expose purple muscles. It had long dark green hair that fell past its shoulders. The skin around its mouth was gone, exposing brilliant white teeth.

All the creatures inhaled, and together they screamed. Powerful rage-filled roars that sent massive shock waves rippling across the Nevada desert.
