"jayden--" Andrew turned around and hugged his pillow.
It had been around 2 weeks since he got out of the hospital. He missed Jayden. He wanted the person he cared about most back, next to him. Andrew pulled his face out of his pillow and looked out at the sky through his window. The stars were shining. They were beautiful. Just like Jayden. Everything reminded him of Jayden. Everything.
"God, i miss you. Why cant you come back? I love you Jay. I'll love you forever," Andrew whispered under his breath, trying not to sob.
He sat up and ripped a small piece of paper from one of his notebooks and began to write.
'Dear Jayden,
I love you. I would go to the ends of the universe for you. I have. And even that wasn't enough to keep you alive. I wish you could come back. If i had another option to bring you back, i would. But you're gone now. Gone for good. And i can't do a single thing about it. I hope you're the best version of yourself, in wherever death brings you.
I hope you know i think about you every day.
I kept your favorite sweater. The teal one with white stripes.
I keep all the flowers we loved in the vase next to my bed.
I bring daffodils to your grave every week.
I've continued learning Chinese for you.
And because of that, i know what this means now.

Andrew took the note and attached a petal of a cherry blossom and a petal of a sunflower next to his name. He knew that Jayden always thought they looked pretty together. He ran out of his apartment and spent a good while walking down the winding streets of his city.
Eventually, he took one last turn, and had arrived at where he was headed.
'Jayden Cheng', the familiar headstone read.
Andrew set the note down next to the flowers he had brought the previous day.
"Jayden, I know you can't hear me, but I'll love you for eternity."
