Apple and Cherish were laying in the meadow together, watching the stars. They'd been quiet for a while, just enjoying being with each other again.
"Cher.. Do you, like it here?"
"Well now that you're here I do, obviously. Remember our promise?"
Apple giggled and gave their partner a quick hug.
"Of course I do! I could never forget something so important.. And i like it here with you too! Even if you kinda spooked me a bit at first,.."
"I, uh, sorry bout that? I just kinda- im not sure.."
"You're so cute.." Apple mumbled under their breath.
"What?"
"psh- nothing.. just missed you!"
Cherish sighed and laughed.
"I missed you too love."
Apple moved closer to Cherish before wrapping their arms around her again.
"Cher, you see those stars up there? They look like a heart!"
"Hm, you're right! How did you even notice that?"
"i dunno," Apple replied with a shrug. "Just caught my eye i guess,"
"Pretty nevertheless.. Not as pretty as you though,"
"Shut up!"
"No,!"
The two stayed like that for a while, being overjoyed that they were able to see the other again. Eventually, Apple fell asleep next to Cherish. They'd wait the rest of the night out like that, the rest of their years if they could. Nothing is separating them. Not even the fact that this whole thing is in Minecraft.
