Chapter Text
Aminta watched as monsters approached the border of the camp the rest of the gods left their demigod children to train over the summer, while some stayed year-round.
Aminta never cared for demigods much, maybe from her past that has faded from her memories, or for being an immortal. She never wishes to have one herself, as she is busy being the protector. Hidden from all the gods aside from her father, Ares, she has added a small touch of power to where the woods of the camp meet the places where the demigods so the monsters will not reach them.
Until recently, after the second Titan war, the second war against the Gyants- to which Gaea awoke again- and when the god Apollo was banished as a mortal for months, Aminta never wished to visit the camp herself but now she feels she should, especially with how much more the gods do for their demigod children.
Aminta changes her form into a woman in her early twenties, making her hair auburn-colored and woven into a tight crown braid, wearing a maroon chiton and brown sandals. She only has this form when she intends to meet with other gods like her father, which is the case for her appearance today.
Aminta wills herself to her fathers temple on Mount Olympus, and sends a silent mental message to him. Father, Ares, I wish to speak to you.
Silence in response, but a few moments later she felt the viciousness of war appear behind her and she turned around, dipping her head to the god of war, her father.
“Daughter, you have not been here in some time.” The war god's voice was rather calm.
“I know, Father. You know how I hate being near other gods, especially the Olympians, aside from you.” Aminta said with a dip of her head.
Aminta got a bright grin from her father and she smiled back politely before speaking her plan. “I wished to speak to you because I would like to go see this camp for myself. I know demigods do not reside there much after all the events, but I felt it was time I go visit the place I protect and the people there who hold my domain greatly into the place.”
“Daughter…” Ares said hesitantly.
Aminta stood back like a shoulder and looked at her father with an unwavering gaze. “It has been much too long since I have walked the mortal world, the only reason I have not faded is because people hold my domain with what they protect. I am the goddess of protection, and the demigods of this camp protect it fiercely.”
“The world is calm again, there would be no dangers there.” Aminta continued.
Her father let out a long sigh but placed a hand on her shoulder. “Alright, you may go. You will be claimed as a demigod child of mine. I have one son and one daughter there now, I suggest speaking to them. There are other demigods but the place isn’t as full as it is not summer. Be safe, daughter.”
Amina gave a firm nod, thanked her father, and vanished herself in the woods outside the barrier of the camp.
She was ready for this, maybe.
