Work Text:
"Ruskin, do you know what day it is?" Charles Augustus Milverton asked his secretary in the morning after they finished the breakfast. Ruskin tried to recall it, but he couldn’t remember anything regarding the date.
“It’s not your birthday nor mine.” He listed. “It’s also not the anniversary of working together. Is this the day of something evil?” He made the guess.
Milverton nodded.
"Yes, it is mental health day.” He told Ruskin with maliciousness in his tone which showed his true nature. “And I plan to celebrate it. Do you have any idea how?” He winked at Ruskin.
“Will we ruin the mental health of someone?” Ruskin replied and his guess was right this time.
Milverton smiled.
“Indeed - but the choice is yours. Blackmail or temptation?”
Ruskin knew how to make his employer happy with his pick. After all, he was aware that Mr. Milverton liked doing the most.
“Both.” He answered and smiled back at the other man.
Milverton’s eyes shone up. This was what he wanted to hear.
“Good pick, Ruskin. Very good pick.” He said and he patted his secretary’s shoulder. They were both excited as they looked forward to their celebration for mental health day.
