(Golf Ball's lab room)
"Nice it seems like it's almost done". Golf Ball wipes the sweat off her body.
Tennis Ball was beside her watching closely and sometimes help her as the assistant. "Guess we only need the yoylite", he points toward the now crushed up yoylite so that it fits in their machine.
The machine itself was huge, taking up the entire east wall in GB's secret lab. It had a very complicated starting system and two pointers which look like laser guns pointing at each other so that they can create the energy for the interdimensional portal.
"Heh I'm sure Test Tube would be very jealous of us right now" Golf Ball snarked.
"True" TB picks up the crushed up yoylite, "Now where we should put this?"
GB pointed at the opening besides the operator, TB pours the crushed yoylite into the hole and closed it.
"Great now time for it to charge up".
"Gee, I can't wait for it to work, Imagine all the possibilities"
"I know right, with this we can create some sort of bridge to other universes, where I don't know we can do more research on it. Heck, it even stays open so that we can enter and exit without using any other machine. We're going to be the pioneers of the future of science itself".
TB can't help but imagine the things that GB said, themselves as the center, it felt too good to be true.
Suddenly, a faint static sound appears and Test Tube materialized within GB's lab, she appeared not with admiration but with frustration. "What are you two doing?".
GB didn't turn to face her, "Well well Test Tube, behold our magnificent creation".
"No! Not magnificent at all, According to my space time detection pad, this machine you're going to create is going to possibly damage the integrity of space-time itself and who knows what kind of shenanigans will happen".
"Or you're probably here because you're jealous of our machine". TB retorts.
"She's right", GB surprisingly agreeing with TT on this matter. "But if this works, I believe it could be a great thing for us".
TT aggressively rebuked, "No it won't, trust me. Trying to create shortcuts in interuniversal travel have always failed, what makes you think this work".
GB finally turned to face TT, "It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Maybe you should get out of here if you object".
As they were debating, the machine started to make faint noises which slowly became ear piercing. GB, TB and TT, tried to cover their ear and knelt down.
"See I told you this won't work!" TT tries to shout to combat the ear piercing sound but GB and TB didn't caught that.
What's worse is that, the machine started radiating yellow glow which became brighter and brighter. Yellow shocks also started to appear from the pointers, nearly hitting GB which dodged just in time.
"It's gonna blow!" GB shouted to TB and TT, all three of them rush towards the lab exit.
It wasn't an explosion however but an implosion which sucked the entire machine and tried to suck in the three of them. Luckily it stopped and the three of them laid down on the ground. GB stood up in order to see the aftermath.
GB's eyes widen, as she saw something that she considers amazing. TT and TB stood up after and looked at the thing that GB was looking at.
"What have you done?" Test Tube was nearly speechless as she saw it.
In front of them, a huge wormhole that was as big as the machine that once stood, In its center was pure brightness.
"Ha ha", GB turns towards TT, "in your face, see I knew it would work".
"Ooo I wonder what universe did it connected to?" TB was also fascinated.
TT shook her head, This is a really bad idea.
