Isagi POV :

"(Y/N), are you sure about this?"

I stared at the 'extra hot' chili symbol stamped next to the ramen in the menu.

He had dragged me here saying that the flavor of the food would be so good that I would prefer spicy food over sweets forever.

Now, sure that was a far-fetched claim, but (Y/N) wasn't the one to hype things up for no reason–He is a culinary enthusiast apparently. Still I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of setting my mouth on fire. But seeing how excited (Y/N) was i couldn't bring myself to say no.

I was so deep in thought that i didn't even notice that he had already started talking.

"–Yeah this place is legendary! I cannot wait for you to try it." He said giving me a suspicious smirk.

"Sure, but are you certain that this is mild spice?"

"Are you saying that you can't handle a spice level that a literal toddler could breeze through?" He giggled, reaching over to poke my cheek. I gently swatted his hand away and jabbed his chest in retaliation. The staff looked at us both in confused polite-ness.

I figured we should start to eat.

Besides its can't be that spicy.

It was that spicy.

I had taken only one bite and it felt like absolute hell. My nose was running already, my tongue was burning and my face was heating up. It was like the spice was actively tearing down my taste buds.

I forced myself to look across the table and for some reason, the smug bastard was completely okay. He was peacefully slurping on his noodles as if he hadn't given me a severe heart burn via these 'mild spicy' noodles.

"You smug little–" I choked out, reaching for the water, gulping down as if my life depended on it. Which in a way it did.

The worst part? (Y/N) was surprised .

Apparently my spice tolerance was lower than his expectations.

I could tell he was desperately not trying to laugh as he shamelessly covered his face with his hand.

"Ooh– uh! Sorry there Yoichi. I'll make it up to you, I promise!" He laughed. How did he not have a runny nose already?

He ended up ordering me a katsu curry that was actually mild so i didn't leave the restaurant starving.

By the time we started to leave, he baught us two ice creams. Mine was strawberry He remembered, huh? and his was chocolate.

"Just something sweet to put out that fire." He smirked taking a bite out of his ice cream cone.

"Well its only fair after the torture you put me through." I retorted savouring the taste of the fruity and refreshingly sweet strawberry.

He just laughed in response.

We walked through the side walks looking at the various shops that lined eachother in the Shibuya district. Even thought it had been only a month since (Y/N) and I started dating. He was already showering me with endless gifts and dates. I wanted to treat him back, but he would never hear of it.

Plus him paying for almost everything? Nope. I needed to figure out a way to do something special for him too.

My parents had fully supported me when I told them that I liked (Y/N). They were just super dramatic about it. They gushed over two of us even more now. And honestly? I loved it.

Besides, I don't think (Y/N)'s organized house was too exciting to live in for him. Peaceful? For sure. i really love the firefly garden.

But there was something enticing about the chaos, the liveliness and the buzzing of a chaotic house. At least for (Y/N) I guess.

He noticed my thoughtful state and held my hand. I jolted a bit at the sudden contact, making him snicker.

"Hey... is the 'oh so horrible' spice gone yet?" He asked in a subtle tone that i couldn't dechiper.

Well, I could still feel the spice lingering on my lips. Seriously how potent was that ramen?

"Uh... no? I mean–"

Before I could finish he had instantly led me to a separate alleyway and had proceeded to swiftly remove my mask, leaned in and kissed me right there. It was a slow but intense kiss. But he was right on the edge, teasing me.

I lost my patience and grabbed his collar tugging him forward which in turn forced him to put his hands around my waist, deepening the kiss.

My face burned, the red blooming on my neck as well. His lips tasted like intense, sweet and rich chocolate, not at all like the hellish ramen.

When we broke apart for air, he looked down at me with a micheavious and insufferably handsome face. He asked with mock concern,

"Is the taste gone? Or would you like another round once we reach home?"

My ears felt like they were burning.

I mumbled a faint threat about getting him back with a surprise of my own later. He grinned, pulling my mask up into place.

"Pfft– okay, Yoichi let's go home."

I leaned heavily against him as we walked. My face still burning from the kiss.

His arm firmly hooked around my waist. I was thankful for the masks because for now, no one could see my blush behind them, and the rest of the world disappeared leaving only me and (Y/N).
