Home coming

Summary:

Bakugo comes home to his husband after seven months of not seeing him.

Work Text:

It’s been seven months since I’ve seen Kacchen. I worry about him. He’s my husband. It’s impossible for me not to worry about him while the Marines have him doing god knows what.

While I’ve been here teaching unruly kindergarteners. But that’s life I suppose.

It’s the end of the day and I’m making sure everyone gets their bags and goes home with the right parent.

Yes, I’ve had parents take the wrong child home before. I don’t know how it happens but it does. And the bizarre thing is the child will willingly go with them knowing that isn’t their parent.

I really don’t get it.

I say goodbye to the last child before grabbing my own bag and placing it over my shoulder.

It’s been a long day. Two kids tried to eat crayons and another tried to climb out through the window.

I’m starting to understand why Aizawa looks more exhausted every time I see him.

I step out of my room and lock the door. And if you think of the devil he shall appear. “Midoriya, some man is out front claiming to be your husband,” I stop. That has to be Kacchen. “Do you want me to get Nuzu?”

“No,”

“Are you sure? Could be a creeper,”

I turn to face him. “Could be my husband,”

He blinks. “You’re married?”

“Yes,”

“Very well. See you tomorrow,” then with that he heads out.

I find Kacchen outside leaning against the wall. “Took you long enough,” he says as I go over to him.

And by go over I don’t mean casually walking. I mean running straight into his arms, wrapping my arms around his neck, pulling myself up so my legs are around his waist, and kissing him as hard as I can on the lips.

After a second he pulls back. “Someone missed me,” he teases.

I roll my eyes. “Shut up,”

He kisses my forehead. “Never,”
