Work Text:

Proud dust, clinging and hesitant,
denying that inevitable sleep.
Bound in regret, haunted and
despairing at the end of day.
A life short-lived; a candle
extinguished carelessly.
Dearest ghost, there is nothing for
you here in this ephemeral moment.

What is it you wait for in the corner of the room?
