Their disagreement the night before hadn’t been anything too serious, but they were both stubborn, so whenever they argued, it took a little while for one of them to make the first move. Thankfully, it never lasted more than 24 hours.
Actually, they’d been having quite a few disagreements lately, if they were being honest. The tour was exhausting them, and sometimes they were so tired that they stopped thinking straight.
Tonight, they were going to perform on stage, and the young couple hadn’t spoken to each other all day.
But, of course, they had to put all their resentment aside once they got on stage.
Soundcheck had gone well, as usual. The atmosphere was good, and it promised an even better show later that night. It put all the members in a good mood, including Ohyul, and he decided that he would make the first move and talk to Ryul after the concert.
But things didn’t go as planned.
The boys in the group had always been trained to do fanservice because it was important to the fans, even if it could be incredibly embarrassing for them sometimes.
Ohyul was especially uncomfortable with it since he was an introvert by nature.
But Ryul?
He was a professional when it came to fanservice.
Ohyul thought he took it way too far sometimes, and it had caused quite a few arguments between them.
And tonight, it was the last straw.
Ryul had spent the entire concert putting on one hell of a fanservice show. He said things like, “Where’s my wife?” and other cringe-worthy things like that, until he even told a girl in the audience that she was his type, only to laugh and say he was joking afterward.
But Ohyul didn’t find it funny at all.
Honestly, all he wanted to do was slap him, but unfortunately, he couldn’t. So he decided to put up with it and pretend nothing was wrong until the end of the concert.
As soon as the concert ended, Ohyul didn’t waste any time grabbing Ryul and dragging him somewhere private backstage.
“Can i ask what the hell you’re playing at?”
“Oh, so we’re talking again now?” Ryul replied sarcastically.
“Don’t piss me off. I’m already tired enough as it is.”
“I’m not playing at anything, if that answers your question.”
“You really think I don’t know you’re doing this on purpose?”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“ ‘Where’s my wife?’ ‘You’re my type.’ What the hell is wrong with you?”
“I’m just doing my job.”
“No, you’re just trying to piss me off! Why are you even doing this?”
“You know we have to do fanservice. We’re not having this argument again.”
“There’s fanservice, and then there’s being completely ridiculous, and you’re definitely the second one! She’s not even your type, and you—ugh! You annoy me so much. I don’t even know why I’m still talking to you!”
Ohyul walked away, and Ryul didn’t try to stop him.
When they got back to the hotel, Ohyul immediately took a shower, turned off the lights in his room, and went straight to bed.
They had separate rooms this time, which suited him just fine because he really didn’t want to see Ryul.
The members and staff had gone down to the hotel restaurant to eat, but Ohyul had said he wasn’t hungry so he could go upstairs and have some peace and quiet.
Mission failed.
Someone knocked on his door.
He really didn’t feel like getting up to open it, so he continued ignoring them, pretending to be asleep. But whoever it was refused to stop knocking, so he eventually got out of bed.
And when he opened the door, he found Ryul standing there.
Ryul immediately walked into his room and sat down on his bed without even asking permission.
“I don’t want to talk to you. Leave me alone and get out!”
“No.”
“Go away. I’m not joking.”
“Me too.”
Ohyul sighed, already knowing there was no point trying to make him leave. Ryul clearly wasn’t going anywhere.
So instead, he went back under his covers, leaving only half of his face visible.
“Did it really piss you off that much?”
Ohyul immediately pulled the blanket away from his face, glaring at Ryul with his eyebrows furrowed.
“That much? Are you fucking kidding me?”
“Okay, I just wanted to annoy you a little.”
“So you did it on purpose?”
“Yes I did it on purpose. I just wanted you to come back to me first after our argument yest—”
Ryul suddenly got hit in the face with a pillow.
“You thought that was the best way to get me to come back to you? I was already planning to come to you before you even said all that stupid shit! You’re such an idiot…”
Ohyul turned his back to him, finding Ryul’s behavior incredibly childish.
“Stop sulking please, I’m sorry. I really shouldn’t have done that.”
“Leave me alone. I want to sleep.”
Ryul changed positions and lay down beside Ohyul, turning his body toward him.
“Move.”
“Ohyul, I didn’t mean anything I said, and you know that.”
“You always take it too far when it comes to fanservice. It’s annoying. I mean… it annoys me.”
“Sorry. I’ll stop taking it so far. But what I did earlier was genuinely just to annoy you. Believe me.”
Ryul accompanied his words with a small kiss on Ohyul’s cheek, and it was enough to make him calm down a little.
“Don’t ever say something like that again…”
“Promise.”
Ohyul looked at Ryul’s lips, making it clear that he wanted him to kiss him, and Ryul didn’t waste a second.
They exchanged several kisses before Ohyul asked for more, needing to feel his boyfriend’s affection after being so frustrated and annoyed all day.
In the end, the whole thing worked out just fine.
Hopefully, Ryul would keep his promise.
