Work Text:
The whole of Korea and a large swathe of the wider world could not stop talking about Sung Jin-Woo, and as a consequence of that, his Ahjin Guild. And while it is absolutely the truth that he is the raiding side of Ahjin, he isn’t really the power of Ahjin.
For those who are not involved in a guild, there is paperwork involved at every level. There’s paperwork to apply for gates, there’s paperwork for successfully closing gates, there’s paperwork for finding the best prices for selling monster parts, and entirely different paperwork for the magic cores, there’s paperwork for hunter’s contracts, there’s paperwork for so many different financials, there’s paperwork for all the normal, mundane, non-hunter involved things like rent, and bills and food.
There is just so much paperwork.
And most guilds have entire departments for keeping these things in order. Sometimes multiple.
But the Ahjin guild… the Ahjin Guild just had Yoo Jin-Ho.
He did everything.
He did all the paperwork, he filed everything perfectly, kept everything running by himself.
You would think that the sporadic frenzies in which Hunter Sung seems to do gates would make it easier, but it just means that everytime the mood strikes him it’s just uber crunch time for Yoo Jin-Ho.
But even when Hunter Sung is taking a break from gates, Yoo Jin-Ho fills his time with finding every mention of Hunter Sun online, scrap-booking all the good things and then slamming court cases on the ones who say bad things about him.
I swear he must have more hours in a day than everyone else, that’s the only thing that explains it.
He hired a few people on after the Jeju raid - and the person who joined at the same time as me lasted a week - and so he suddenly had to do all the paperwork, and also teach us how to do it.
And still, nothing was ever late.
So yeah, worship Sun Jin-Woo all you like, those of us here know that Yoo Jin-Ho is the true power of Ahjin.
